Thank America’s complete failure to condemn greed, and its subsequent adoption as our sole cultural value.

It’s happening to your healthcare, food, and every other sector too. Greed is every bit as destructive as hate, it just does its damage with cold, sociopathic calculation instead.

America is built on greed. Like, the whole national pride is based on economic growth, creating business, and glorifying industrialists.

Of course we don’t condemn greed when we worship it.

It’s nice when a company just comes right out and tells you not to bother even considering the garbage they’re shoveling.

I think that there’s a legit space for live service games.

I don’t think that it’s the place where all gaming should wind up, but there’s definitely stuff that it can do that other formats can’t.

”Ultimately we want to drive engagement and monetisation of longer cycles and at higher levels," he continued. “We are currently under scale and see significant opportunity to generate greater post purchase revenue.”

    Translation?

We wanna extract every red cent from your bank account, to fluff ours to no end.

“Greedy bastards tire of selling products to consumers, demand open siphon to wallets.”

    Only legislation will fix this.

And before the same dullard drops in to roll their eyes: yes, this is the same fucking problem I keep saying that about. It keeps happening. That’s why I keep saying it.
