This is the best summary I could come up with:

New satellite images commissioned by the BBC reveal the extent of destruction across northern Gaza, before the start of the temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

While northern Gaza has been the focus of the Israeli ground offensive and has borne the brunt of the destruction, widespread damage extends across the entire strip.

In this image below, taken to the south of Gaza City, we can see what was previously a populated residential area, cleared by the IDF with heavy machinery and a road bulldozed towards the western Mediterranean shoreline.

Satellite images also show an open square of land with a Star of David carved into the earth by vehicle tracks in Gaza City, near al-Azhar University.

Images online from before the war showed children playing there and suggested it was a park, but IDF spokesman Rear Adm Daniel Hagari said the ground was used by Hamas as a parade square near a base.

Additional reporting by Thomas Spencer, Paul Brown, Jake Horton, Alex Murray and Shayan Sardarizadeh and Jemimah Herd

The original article contains 946 words, the summary contains 171 words. Saved 82%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

So sad for the Palestinians. Hamas knew the Israelis would come for their hostages and be incensed too after their savage attack.

The suffering of their own people was the aim of Hamas. Kill as many as possible to create outrage and propaganda to isolate Israel and expand the war.

Hamas are the architects of the greatest savagery and betrayal seen. All while the leaders live it up in Qatar too 😞

I see we conveniently are just not going to talk about how the Jew-Nazis are absolutely using this as an excuse to maximize collateral damage to the civilian populace of their enclose open air concentration camp of a city. However you want to justify the genocide this is, feel free, but the world is watching, and sympathy for what the Jews went through during the Holocaust is wearing thin since they’ve been essentially running their own genocide for the better part of a century.

They might not need to. The Nazis had the problem of most Jewish people were living side by side with their non-Jewish counterparts. The Nazis needed to concentrate them somewhere so they could kill them efficiently. Gaza is already one big concentration camp, they can just pick a boogeyman (hamas) and use that as an excuse to shoot fish in a barrel until there is nobody left. Anybody who doesn’t get hit by the bombs dies of disease and exposure.

Oh man, they’re doing such a shit job maximizing casualties it’s ridiculous. All those warnings to civilians to evacuate… All the relocation away from the main fighting areas… No wonder they have such a low bomb to civilian casualty rate. They really need to step up that civilian killing, otherwise it will really make the West look bad.

This is like Holocaust denial in the 21st century. Those that refuse to see what the Jew-Nazis are doing.

Coming from the one trying to twist the truth. Maximizing civilian casualties? Hardly. Stop lieing to yourself and others.

You know we should have slightly higher standards for a “democratic” country which is at least on paper pretending to be “law abiding”.

And the worst is that even after the offensive Israel said that they are not planning to rebuild what they destroyed but suggested that this would be the responsibility of the international community. And by the time this conflict ends there would be a lot more buildings and civilian infrastructure destroyed along with innocent lives destroyed and/or lost.

It is quite obvious that Israel doesn’t care about the Palestinian population and they are doing their best to push them to the brink.

Um…Hamas was democratically elected. You seem to have a double standard there.

First of all there weren’t any elections since 2006, and second we are talking about the sheer intentional destruction of civilian infrastructure. A big chunk of the civilian population has been displaced and turned refuge once again. What about the humanitarian aspect of this conflict.

One evil doesn’t justify another evil!

We consider the US democratic, yet their standards aren’t nearly as high as Israel’s in war.

This is the only real take on the situation and was inevitable since the initial attacks. It’s a shame most people here are being played by Hamas. If they killed and kidnapped your loved ones there’d be no mention of ‘proportionate.’

Idk if my loved ones where hurt I don’t think I’d resolve to the mass bombing and murder of people that might or might not be associated with that group.
