Whenever I pull out the vacuum, I do a little 5 min routine where I warn them and do a little vacuum fake noise.

I think it works. My cats no longer have a lot of panic when I vacuum, and one even decides to get close to it now.

Looking around, I see all the spider bros are gone. Gotta clean up the webs soon.

My guinea pigs will jump if I sneeze in another room but if I’m vacuuming their cage I have to push them away from the vacuum because they want to try and chew on it.

Solution: make your sneeze sound more like a vacuum

Greener solution: use your nose to vacuum their cage.

Isn’t the second law of thermodynamics that you do NOT talk about thermodynamics?

No that’s the 3rd law. That way you can still talk about the first 2 laws

I though it was ‘A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.’

My cat is not at all bothered by vacuum, he just sit on table and fall asleep while I am cleaning.
