Power plants typically connect via the grid, hence aren’t local to the data center. Changing over is trivial.
But they don’t have to, and they don’t generally ask, just do.

I’d gladly pay 5% of my total wealth once in lieu of taxes. It’d amount to about $50. Granted all of society would grind to a fucking half if us workers weren’t paying taxes because the other leeches fucking aren’t.

Yes, that’s what the comment was saying.

I don’t think this has taken root in Swedish culture no. You’ll encounter it a lot in gay circles online, particularly US adjacent.

Nope. Cunty is a positive term. It’s like serving cunt. It’s akin to being a bad bitch.
Essentially, unabashedly assertive, bold, potentially feminine, but I’ve seen it used otherwise too.
Have a look at GoToSocial.

We have the food to feed the entire world but it’s more profitable to let people starve.
The entire world’s fucked.

This is what I’m expecting with the Palantir CEO dude buying up a bunch of forest in Sweden recently. The statement is
The new owner of the forest property cares for the beauty of the property, and its preservation. The wide, natural forest landscapes provide valuable living space for plants and animals, while simultaneously providing a spot for recreation and respite.
We have “allemansrätten” here, as in you can go to and camp more or less anywhere. You don’t need to own the property to enjoy its natural beauty, or recreate there.
It’s definitely going to be used for something vile. A datacentre or something.
Oh they swapped Teams for Element? Honestly I’d take it. They’re not really 1:1, and element is quite wonky, but not nearly on the level of Teams.
Wonder if the pro version has a calendar. That’s about the one good feature of Teams.

Surprised this administration doesn’t go with Mecha Hitler. Maybe he’s worried he’ll get one upped by it. Or perhaps the Musk/Trump breakup was nastier than I thought.
Is their couple name Trusk or Mump?

There’s an EU piracy watchlist? Did anyone submit Facebook to it?

I mean that comes as absolutely no surprise at all. That’s entirely within my expectations.

If FOSS is a concern you could look into NetBird. They also have a hosted alternative but as far as I know the entire stack is FOSS.
It’d still be a matter of trusting a private company though.

Cool. Good for them. Hope they die.

Obviously when I work I don’t run the entire suite, that’d be a waste of time. When I’m finished, I run the entire suite, I don’t sit and run the tests I’ve been testing against as I’m working because I already expect those to pass.
If they don’t, that’s caught when I run the entire suite. I don’t sit and run individual tests followed by the entire suite.

I can believe this. I’ve been put on slop duty, and had the slopmachine go all
Time to run the test to ensure everything is good. It passed. Good. Let’s run the entire suite to ensure no regressions. All tests passed, yay.
And I’m here thinking, if you’re gonna run the whole suite anyway, why’d you run an individual test? That’s just redundant.

What is a secondary ID?

My washer/dryer is “smart” and there’s no convenience there at all, honestly. It argues with me, it sits and flashes suggestions freezing the entire interface, it decides to just not do things at times. It’s hella annoying.
Ah, but it is likely that the deal is locked in place with some kind of price guarantee. Meaning they’ve guaranteed that they’ll buy for 20 years, and in return they get a certain price. I doubt they’ve managed to get it for a flat price for 20 years, but it’s likely a curve that’ll be beneficial to both parts of the agreement.
And then any other parties not part of the deal that also need this gas, those who don’t have 20 year contracts on fixed prices, they get to carry the burden. :)
