Not an app but I use a Garmin inreach mini when I go backpacking. You can set it to automatically share your location at set intervals. Also not sure how Garmin handles data so not sure about the privacy aspect either.

Installed Skyrim on the steam deck so that’s been my free time this week.
That’s my problem right now. Recently a couple of friends and myself got into the Antistasi mod for Arma 3. Tons of fun but getting everything setup and being able to host the dedicated server took a few trips to Reddit. Had to find stuff on the Arma sub and the Antistasi sub.
Got me a refurb pixel 5a last year for $100. It’s been great and way better then my moto g power I had previously.
The great thing is it’s so much easier now. About 2 months ago I cancelled all my streaming subscriptions.
My favorite is still command and conquer generals lol. Not the best in the series but I loved it. Still play it every once in awhile.
I haven’t bought any of the DLC yet. Every steam sale I’m like not yet haha.
Haven’t touched RimWorld in a few years. Got addicted to it again this week. Hopefully soon it will pass.
I go back and forth. Past few weeks used it a bunch but hadn’t touched it in a month. Sometimes I start a game on my deck then think this would be so much better with mouse and keyboard then just play it on my laptop.
I also play allot of strategy and building games. I still think the touchpads are awesome and work great for those types of games but like when I play Kenshi I assign the back buttons too and it ends up hurting my hands after awhile.
