yeah everyone knows this

you fell for the “move to the countryside” incentive. they give you money to move in the middle of nowhere, then you pay for that circumstance for the rest of your life with poor transportation, no jobs, expensive maintenance etc.

also you went into farming while also having severe physical health issues?? really?

if that is my company, i’m not hiring you if you bring starbucks iced coffee. that’s not because i don’t like iced coffee, but because you clearly lack a brain. who would pay $8 for that overpriced stuff.

we also have science memes, showerthoughts and comic strips though!

following people is nice if you know these people personally, like from real life.

to block all the politics communities should be an option at sign-up, or better yet, even when you browse without being signed in.

erstes mal?

🥺👉👈

i’m not gonna do it alone

it actually takes more energy to launch stuff into the sun, than to launch it out of the solar system. just saying.

so who is this for?

for myself, for example. i want to see more diverse content.

omg that was a hilarious read. painful, but insightful.

1. block all news

2. post stuff about things that you care about? gardening? horses? wildlife photography?

just block all “US politics” communities and downvote every single post that mentions trump (or the democratic alternative candidate) that appears outside of those comms.

i think we need better federation with mastodon. at least, mastodon users should be able to see lemmy content and interact with it. (i can understand that the reverse, i.e. seeing mastodon content from lemmy is technically challenging)

that would give more exposure and interaction.

also not federating with mastodon would mean to break the promise of the fediverse, that it’s all (somewhat) compatible.
