Lmao, thats an incredible image. I have no interest in reading the article, and I choose to believe the author is just very upset at lenovo’s fashion crimes vaguely associated with tablet use
No, levono commissioned this and two others. I will be honest, they don’t look half bad in comparison to most modern fashion
Yeah the last one is absurd, but the isolation raincoat and the cargo/camo gear looks okay, tbh. In fact the former looks quite good.
Kit Wan Studio have nice legs. 🤤
I would gladly wear the exoskeleton thing, maybe wear the sensory canceling thing, and carry the poncho in some sort of box for camping.
This is really funny.
What even is “fashion” in this context if not a single person will ever wear it?
I don’t even get the purpose of tablets… Like “let’s buy a computer that’s slightly smaller than a laptop that isn’t upgradable and has the functionality of a cell phone, but without telephony”
Get a laptop or a cell phone… Unless you work in some niche industry where you can’t have devices with fans and need to be running Windows, it makes no sense
That’s a very narrow-minded view. I thought the same thing when the iPad was new. But I changed my mind.
Sitting on the sofa and watching movies or reading news is a good application, a laptop is too clunky for that, and a phone screen is too small.
Also use as an air-navigation device (not only) light aircraft, and replacement for paper charts in airline operations. There are many legitimate uses where tablets are exactly what you want. If it’s not for you, fine.
A tablet isn’t a work device its first and foremost a consumption device.
If your work is exclusively done on keyboards, sure.
I do a ton of sketching, note taking, and planning using my apple pencil.
It’s not for everyone but I love it. It’s thin and doesn’t weigh much plus it’s got great battery. Perfect for drawing or reading when curled up on the couch.
Plus watching movies on an airplane is easier when you don’t have a keyboard in the way.
I have a tablet and it’s so much more convenient at home than laptop and phone.
Idk, I have a S23 Ultra, and prior to that a Note 10+. At best, I guess a tablet would be handy for graphic novels, comics, and magazines where a phone would be too small and an e-reader would lack a proper colour screen. There’s almost nothing I can’t do on my phone that I’d need a Laptop for, though with the “updates” (downdates IMO) to Android lately, a laptop will probably be better suited in a few more years.
I don’t prefer it, but my iPad mini fits in my back pocket and I can use it a lot for work stuff on the fly. Wish it had a keyboard, but I don’t want to spend the money.
