If it has face recognition, than it’s a definite fuck no.
It’s done on device.
Doesn’t change a fact that someone that’s using Fossify Gallery, is not the target user for something that has a feature like this.

You’re right, I should’ve worded it differently.
Anyone that installed/is using a Fossify app, that actually read about Fossify and their missions statement (and aligned with it), wouldn’t be the target user for features like this.
What in their mission statement disqualifies on device face recognition?
Which part of simple,and without unnecessary permissions are you confused about?

Why would it need network access for that? It’s pretty easy to do on device these days
