The president wins over sparring factions within his own party to get the bill passed after months of wrangling.

218 to 214. Republicans could afford to lose 3 votes, they lost 2.

It’s good that social security benefits are no longer taxable, but what’s being cut to make up for that lost tax revenue? 🤔 Nobody is asking that question.
