Pete Ricketts is famous for losing most of his elections. He was appointed to the Senate seat.
I only know a couple Nebraskans. Two. They hate Trump and Republicans. I mentioned Osborne to them, and they said something about “all politicians are untrustworthy” saying they didn’t think they would bother to vote. It was disappointing. This is why Ricketts would win.
It’s going to be a real shame to watch him lose to Pete Ricketts. Osborn works hard and genuinely seems to care. Pricketts has only ever been out to grease the wheels for his venture capital family and never gave half a carton of fuck about anybody who wasn’t born rich.
People don’t like big ag. If you work for big ag and go visit your family farm… or cabin… many don’t share it widely with those that knew your long passed elders. . Those corporations have caused generations of trauma.
