Is there one that I’m not seeing? I can edit comments and I can delete posts but I don’t see an option to add the edit button.
Check to see if you can only edit posts that are text only, and if the post included text and an image the edit option disappears. This is a known bug and included in the github issue tracker for correction

I just checked, and i have the option to edit in the three-dot menu that’s in-line with the voting icons. Do you see it in there?
So it must be some sort of bug. I have two screenshots of posts here. Both communities are on the same instance. But only one shows the option to edit.

Should be posts with image that lose the edit option, known bug. Posts with text only still have the edit option.
