Desktop application Trash folder Joplin now support a trash folder - any deleted notes or notebooks will be moved to that folder. You can also choose to have these notes permanently deleted after a number of days.         Yes! I just confirmed that notes and notebooks move to the new trashcan! So grateful! 💜

        I had to rollback my database just last week because my son managed to accidentally delete a whole notebook on his phone and was pretty upset. I resolved that, but was once again so frustrated with the lack of trash. Now this will be a thing of the past! 🎉🥳

        Also noticed undo and redo buttons for the first time. That was killing me just as much!

        Two birds with one stone it seems!, (either that or I’m blind 😁)

        As a side note, I’m amazed that this lemmy thread has twice as many updoots as reddit. Looking forward to the day when I don’t need to go on Reddit at all (it’s just for Joplin and NeoVim)

          @lung @laurent closed social media nowadays is drowned in bots talking to each other, so even when something goes viral, there’s no way to tell if it’s genuine interest. Not that lemmy immune to it, but lack of financial incentive plays a big role nonetheless.

          We have a long way to go but you can already see how fediverse matures in front of our eyes and becomes real outlet for people socializing.
