Valve have overhauled the way game demos work on Steam in some big ways, and it sounds like a really good thing for both developers and players.

It’s just annoying when looking for a game, and getting pages of recommendations for the sims 4 dlc when I don’t even own the sims.

Advertising the post sales stuff prior to even buying the game isn’t very bright.
