I love how absolutely bonkers this is. Did not expect his training with the suspended swords to be foreshadowing and make this almost make sense.
For some kingdom that supposedly has mastered magic and “technology” their army don’t seem to be very mighty…
I’d have expected at least a couple of decently strong magic users, if not some strong hero-types of their own.
