Just checked out Qobuz and you can even buy the music digitally to download (like bandcamp with the advantage that they are EU-based and seems like more artists are on Qobuz), think I’m going to switch
They probably did multiple queries per day at the beginning, found out it isn’t worth it and stopped using it …
Some guy also used zip bombs against AI crawlers, don’t know if it still works. Link to the lemmy post

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•Are there other options than Prusa/BambuLab?English
2·8 months agoI currently print TPU 90A with my Anycubic Vyper and it works great even thou it’s a bowden setup. It’s IMO a great material if you need something that is kinda soft, you should really try it out! But from what I read the MMU doesn’t really like TPU, but I think there are multiple versions of the MMU so maybe the newer ones are capable of handling TPU? Gonna check that again.
Also I thought I read somewhere that TPU/PLA didn’t have the same problems like PETG/PLA or PLA/ABS/ASA, but I will check it again. Thanks for the input!

2·8 months agoI have access to a BambuLab P1S at work and it’s so much faster and produces better quality prints than my Anycubic Vyper, it’s astonishing what happened the last view years thanks to CoreXY. I will check out the Elegoo, thanks for the recommendation!

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•Are there other options than Prusa/BambuLab?English
2·8 months agoThanks, didn’t knew about the Qidi. And even thou its 1k€/$, its still a half the price of the BambuLab or Prusa!
It heavily depends on the material if it will print fine at higher humidity, but having around 20-35 seems good afaik. I printed PLA successfully at around 55% for a long period before switching rooms and never had problems, but I wouldnt store PETG/TPU there without a sealed box

Dont know if it will work, but I think it’s worth a try. If it doesn’t work you can reset it or swap it back

World News@lemmy.world•Germans Combat Climate Change From Their Balconies: Plug-and-play solar panels are popping up in yards and on balcony railings across Germany, driven by bargain prices and looser regulations.English
15·2 years agoBalcony solars are not able to back feed since they need the grid to synchronize, if you want one that is able to work in “island mode” you still need approval from the grid provider/one that isnt connected with the schuko connector.

17·2 years agoThey have enough energy, but they automatically turn off once the grid goes down because they need the grid to synchronize. Balcony solar panels are not able to work in “island mode”, so no lineman is at risk.

18·2 years agoYou can get a 800Wp (max allowed Wp for a balcony solar) kit in austria for around 500€, germany is currently limited to 600Wp so it should be about the same price or cheaper. And you just need to plug them into a schuko outlet, so most people should be able to do it themselve.
Edit: Fixed units
You can buy single tracks/albums and download them without a subscription, the subscription is more a Spotify-like thing were you can listen to all songs but can’t download them without DRM
