How good is the “HDR Support”? It’s one thing I’ve really wanted for Linux for a while.

This is literally “I was inappropriately talking to a minor, nothing more” like wtf lol
It really seems more complicated than it is. I switched to a dual boot of windows and Linux mint about a year ago and it was super smooth, have basically never used the terminal. if you still want to try and have any questions, feel free to ask. Linux is really a nice feeling of being away from MS bullshit.
You’ll be downvoted but you’re correct. Being a (good) small time landlord for affordable housing is a full time job as well as basically being on call 24/7. Unfortunately when a corporation does it, it has the power to bleed everyone dry.
Xmanager if on Android.
Exactly, I switched to Linux mint a year ago and I’ve used the terminal like… twice lol.
This makes me feel better. I had the entire intention to distro hop around but mint was the first one and it just worked lol
Beginners would have a better time with Mint
If you have to ask, no
Mint sets up the entire dual boot and partitioning during the install. You just choose how much space for Mint. Very easy and intuitive.
Second this. I only still have Windows on dual boot because of game pass and I need office for work. Mint just works.
It’s pretty easy, I installed Mint on my laptop and the installer took care of the partition and everything. On my desktop, I just installed an m.2 expansion slot.
The pixel 8 pro needs some software tweaking for sure. It’s shoots way too cold (the hue). My pixel 7a has been great, following my pixel 4a that also took surprisingly great pictures.
I was in the same boat but Linux Mint just literally worked. Easiest transition ever. I keep my Windows dual boot because I need MS Office for work but I’m in mint 95% of the time with no tinkering.
Glad it worked well for you. Didn’t work well for me with my 2070 super. Was immediately broken and refused to acknowledge my second monitor. Linux Mint worked perfectly, so I just want to throw that out there for anyone with the same gpu
I recently installed Linux Mint on my laptop and all video play on Firefox stutters. I’m using chrome temporarily since that works fine until I fix it. Idk if it’s the same issue but just throwing it out there.
This is correct, you can see the shorts up top
Just for the sake of another experience, my dual boot of windows and Linux mint has had absolutely no boot issues for me ever
You’re really pulling for straws here when the reason is obvious.
Awesome, thanks so much. I actually just purchased the same monitor so this will be very helpful when I set it up.
