Very good point, always forget Nobara exists but it seems like the best “out of the box” solution if you really don’t want to do it yourself. That being said, to learn anything you need to understand how it works and it’s endlessly frustrating to me that Linux is the one where people just throw their hands up and give up instantly if anything goes wrong and they can’t fix it in the same way they did in a completely different platform.

Linux beginners and Nvidia cards aren’t really a good mix in all fairness
Praying for some stronger ROM support for foldables. As soon as ATT lets my phone go free (2 year contract) installing one would be the first thing I do, except my phone is a Razr Ultra 2025 and I can’t even find much for the Z flip let alone the razrs.
For now though mullvad stays on with dns blocking and I just keep to Fdroid and Aurora store if needed, not sure what else I can do

Warm regards to those communities and users commenting the “both bad” mantra for months. Going to be a whole lot of surprised pikachus today
On what planet is that racist? That geographical region has been unstable for most of world history. Zero further implication. I’m trying to not be an asshole about this, but accusing someone of being racist is a real dick move when even Wikipedia has to divide its pages on the topic into different eras.
No we are not lol the middle east has been fighting for… Most of world history at this point

2·1 year agoWith my incredibly limited knowledge of the system, it feels like Flatpak would be a solution to this, right? Or are they too isolated to support a printing system?

For me live traffic is more vital than ever on long road trips, if some traffic pops up hours after I’ve been on the road and my GPS finds a way around it it can tell me what’s up and adjust the route for me on the fly. When my road trips usually consist of north -> south on i95 down the East Coast of the US, it seriously comes in clutch.
The northern Virginia/DC metro area has traumatized me one too many times

How does that even work, is there just no video output when you boot in to Linux?
