Reddit won’t die tomorrow, likely won’t die for years yet, but Lemmy is very much a viable alternative when it wasn’t a shadow half a year ago. It’s not a perfect change, but it’s something.
Loved my essential. After moving to a OnePlus 7t pro when Essential died, I’m trying the Nothing phone 2 now and the design language feels very reminiscent of the essential. Just big, but apparently that’s unavoidable now :/
I greatly miss the ability to simply purchase a program on a disk for a given year and just have access to that tool.
Here’s to hoping it’s more complaints regarding the inferior copper quality of everyone’s favorite con artist Ea-Nasir
Sure, business insider, this is news. Write that headline…
God the only journalistic institution I respect anymore is the Onion
God I’m so stupid I always thought “Tribes from Prophecy” was the name of the game!
Always depressing when an internet mainstay goes under. I’m curious about who was so dedicated to keeping Omegle of all things off the web with attacks.
These seem to be the years the websites are unable to make money any longer and if they can’t make money from the users they will fade away.
We can only wait around and see what next shiny thing pokes it’s head around the corner to try and fill the video chat roulette
What happened with the escapist? Can’t say I even paid much attention, but I’ve been a follower of Zero Punctuation and Yahtzee’s handful of novels for years.
Likely will be years before we see anything from this studio, but I wish them well. The talent involved have been a part of the biggest projects that matter in the MMO space and a small passionate team would avoid the pitfalls of more corporate environments seem prone to. Ie: making a skinner box instead of a cool game
My understanding was that it was material left behind for the US trained military’s use. (The guys that just ran)
You seem less of like the Dos Equis guy and more of a wind chimes instead of a penis kind of guy
Bungie’s Halo soundtracks were iconic and can be laid at the feet of Marty and Michael.
I had heard that Marty was difficult to work with, but it’s crazy that you wouldn’t try to retain the talent that got your brand to live in millions of people’s heads rent free.
Even stranger from Sony’s perspective. If you bought an expensive race car and the first thing you start doing is throwing away the expensive parts in favor of cheaper ones, you no longer own a race car. You own something that looks like it, but can’t perform.
Tldr: The dev claims the big difference is Bethesda games try to never lock the player out of any part of the game depending on the choices the player makes. For example: every player should be the head of any guild in the game or recruit any companion, regardless of previous decisions.
The fact that the writing tends to be shallow, the characters 2dimensional, and the combat unfun was not brought up strangely enough…
Charged with 83 counts of attempted murder. Holy crap! How was the cockpit unlocked so this guy delirious in a bad trip could even gain access?
Combining mirror’s edge with doom isn’t for everyone, but it was definitely for me! ( I also am bad)
