The update was very smooth on the ROG Ally, truly feels great on this handheld especially in comparison to how Chimera felt on the older Aya handhelds

Sony Xperia line has a lot the things you want.
You could go with an older model and throw lineage on it too
Asking for a friend but how would someone get into this line of work??
Right, like they don’t really have many AAA, the main thing holding this back is firmly the OS. I just truly don’t get it
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/307/dash-to-dock/
I use this and its worked great
I lament the death of Meego almost daily
Oh no I’m aware, I had the n9, n900, and I regret not getting the n950 more than many things in my life. I like sailfish quite a bit but since I don’t live in EU I can’t exactly take full advantage of the android app layer
I had such high hopes for Meego. I feel like even if Nokia moved to Android I’d have been thrilled, I like where they’re headed in the dumb phone market
Yeah, I did 3 so idk. I’ll try again later
Same, I also couldn’t get it to read the OPML from Feeder but hell yeah on the effort, looks slick just not for me
In preparation for this happening to me I’ve been looking at commercial displays, which are infuriatingly more money unfortunately
That’s my hope too, that doing it for Ubuntu means other distros can ride the coat tails, fingers crossed for Fedora
No that’s fair but because of the lack of use its always been pretty low end with DS and PSP being on the high end without JIT which is likely to stay the same tbh
I used it for years and loved it but after a while the reinstall for every upgrade sucked and I ditched it and went to GNOME Fedora. I mean honestly Debian with GNOME is probably good enough but if you really wanted to you could install the pantheon desktop environment
I support iOS for work and stay on Android and emulation was definitely one of the reasons, I hope to see more iOS emulation work done with this decision
Gnome with a few extensions just feels very natural for me, but I’ve also just been using gnome for a long time
Don’t starve, hands down
Also Pokémon Rom hacks
Correct, lineage is actually a great way to extend the life of a device safely
Honestly in my mind the best phone is a used one with lineage, like my oneplus 8t was $130 it’s in great shape with 256gb and I’m relatively confident it’ll receive updates for years to come from Lineage.
I got the ROG Ally over it because Bazzite feels mature enough to compete, I like the smaller footprint and higher resolution, but above all because the ROG Ally has a shit 2nd hand market and I could scoop one up for $300
