He really hated Obama, but now there’s a real fear that the entire nation will say they like a black woman better than him. And I just don’t think he could handle that kind of rejection.

I really enjoyed the first one, so I’m looking forward to this as well. They made a pretty good historical have that was also entertaining, and felt much more realistic than something like Skyrim without being too hardcore.
They did this in 2008-09 with an 8k payment to homebuyers that wasn’t a loan and didn’t have to be repaid. This enabled me to but a foreclosed house and make it livable, and I’ve been living in it since then. It didn’t raise prices in my area, because no one was buying houses anyway because regular possible couldn’t afford it.
I don’t know if I would have been able to get so financially situated if that payment wasn’t there. I could’ve bought the house, but I would not have been able to fix it enough to ever stay on top of the maintenance and bills.
Would this be exactly the same situation? I dunno. But I know a similar push sure worked in the past.
Well, right, it doesn’t have to be a specific OS. I haven’t done much research because I’m my current situation, it’s not a good option for me as (for instance) some of my required 2FA apps won’t validate on a rooted phone.
If that changes, I’d do more research, obviously.
I bet the adult diaper cradles them just enough to prevent it
I rooted my phone years ago and it was a chore. Once it finally worked, hardly any of my apps would run and nothing important worked because suddenly a rooted phone isn’t “safe”. It was such a pain in the ass to do updates and fight programs to run that I stopped. I didn’t want to spend hours fixing a device that I really didn’t want to think about.
I would love to install GrapheneOS and have it mostly just work. I hate having my phone locked down like it’s not mine, and it’s one of the reasons I won’t use it for anything important over my desktop.
A broken clock is right twice a day - I won’t really bother to find out why they won’t go to DD, but I’m already boycotting them because their donuts suck and their coffee isn’t as good as my local coffee shop.
Donut is in their name, and they can’t even have fresh ones made? Lazy and greedy corpos run that place.
Walmart.com didn’t work for me on FF for about a week, and it did work on edge and chrome (still broken on FF when I disabled all my add ons). However, they fixed it and it works now. I think it was just a problem with the build of the website, and wasn’t intentional because it definitely works now.
I think that’s what’s more likely - temp problems that could affect any browser until their web dev fixes it. Not anything malicious like intentionally blocking a browser.
And then, it’s just Walmart. It’s nothing that really mattered.
I don’t agree with the ratings. Fox News gets a “medium” which puts it on the same ground as a lot of actual news sites. There’s no way that should get anything more than a “low” or something below that.
I can’t tell how they’re determined other than a singular brief mention of one thing, so to me it looks like they made the call based on one event they cherry picked. But really, it doesn’t matter though to me to investigate any group that rates fox news so highly. I’ve had to suffer through their bullshit lies for years and find them responsible for a lot of the partisan damage we’ve seen over the decades. Medium? What the fuck does it take to get a low rating?
To add to that, I very much doubt any big company tests and verifies anything anymore.
Boeing ships planes with missing bolts and proper software, Crowdstrike pushes updates with no testing, we’ve all seen Microsoft push updates that break stuff because there’s no testing, and that’s just what comes to mind.
That’s how they maximize profits - get rid of testing environments, do minimal checks, and have the one guy doing 3 jobs at once just push it to production.
I’ve been in IT for the banking industry for over a decade and I promise you, we’re all a missed cup of coffee or a comma away from another massive outage due to a program or network misconfig.
As long as business culture is set to maximize profits for one quarter, I wouldn’t trust a sales website about “verification” or “disaster recovery backups” any more than I trust a used car salesman.
That goes for Crowdstrike, but also all of their competitors.
I didn’t even know Putin claimed he’d take Kyiv in 3 days until you said something and got all upset about it, brochacho. But now that you made us all look it up, I’m definitely repeating it to everyone, everywhere.
Can you tell me more things that make Putin look like a fool? Since that seems to be what your goal is.
It’s silly, but I like this headline better than “Trump supporter breaks into house and beats man with a hammer” or “Trump supporter kills police officer during attempted takeover of Capitol” or any number of other things we’ve had happen this year.
They’re going to buy a lot of Chinese-made red MAGA hats and flags anyway, so I don’t see this as too far off.
As long as it doesn’t lead to anything worse.
I didn’t downvote you, but thanks for downvoting me and not answering the question.
Ok, who?
They’d need name recognition, money, and influence to catch up. Who do you think would be a good pick that seems interested in the job?
Clearly he’s got aides helping him do most stuff. That’s not unheard of for any political official, but I imagine he’s just going along with it like Reagan at the end of his term.
When he’s by himself on a debate podium, you can see he’s not doing great.
However, Trump is worse. They’re two old men and you can see Biden is a calm older man slowly slipping. Trump is mad at everyone and everything, refuses help, and requires everyone to be a sycophant around him to placate his ego. The only way people get what they want out of him is to steer the bull in the direction of the China shop they want destroyed. He’s an old man yelling at the TV, and we all have to hear him.
That said, one of them can, will, and has done more damage than the other. That’s why I’d vote for Biden. The meme of “live Biden > dead Biden > dead Trump > live Trump” comes to mind.
I certainly hope that now he, as Kevin Bacon, walks around telling strangers he loves them. Since now he knows how much it sucks to be a nobody.
It’s a problem of scale. If a platform takes off, the site slows or goes down. They need to invest more on hosting, which drives up the prices. Then people leave because it’s not reliable, and the company is left with a huge bill.
Maybe it’d be better to have multiple video sites with their own niche categories, instead of a one stop shop. That might be easier to maintain.
You might need to account for an extra day or two to dig down low enough in the rocky mountains. Unless you’re working with a friend and they brought their own shovel.
It died in my area when they dropped the amount of spawn nodes to the point where you couldn’t really walk around. You had to drive pretty far at that point, and that kill let most people’s enthusiasm.
I don’t know if it was complaints by local businesses or what, but after that I never saw large groups walking around again.
He should drop an album while he’s on top!
