KDE neon on both laptop and desktop can be buggy. Discover does not open reliably, dolphin crashes randomly (in certain directories) and the display manager crashes and restarts sometimes. Idk why, super annoying and could not find a solution yet.

I feel like there is a lot lore right wing propaganda or from Russia and China to destabilize the west. The reason I feel like is that the crazy rich people did not have moral or a back bone in the first place which is the reason why they accumulated the power and wealth in the first place to influence others. Even if its not political manipulation, maybe its optimizing ads so you buy more. Which then can be used to manipulate you politically as you lack the funds to stand up for your morals. And even if you personally do, because you might have a privileged background, others might not and for them its absolutely worth fighting for.

Die meisten uni klinken zur Psychologie haben auch sehr spontane Beratungstermine wo oft noch auszubildende Therapeuten sind, das könnte vielleicht für dich oder zur erstem Beratung spannend sein.

Konkreten Rat für die Situation kann ich nicht geben. Es klingt als hätte sie Angst vor den folgen der Trennung und Anzeige und Verlustangst. Vielleicht hilft es für 1-2 Tage räumlichen Abstand zu haben um was anderes zu sehen und nicht im normalen Trott zu stecken?

I understand what you are saying but I don’t think trippe a games let AI write the story. I think its like software engineering, where the human still thinks about and decides about the architecture but let’s the AI produce the actual code. I feel like its a pretty difficult dilemma. Idk if I would care that an npc dialogue is generated or written. As long as the story and the world is handcrafted and these details as a npc you might not even interact with match that storry I think I don’t really care? I think its simpler to picture with game assets: I don’t care if a sprite for a puff of smoke is AI generated. I would care though if the characters are generated and not hand painted/textured

Haha i get that. I feel like proxmox backup server is really great together with proxmox though. And idk but I feel like there is not too much to do wrong? Correct me if you think differently, but we use a mirrored hdd zfs pool on pbs and pve, so we have 4 copies plus snapshots ob the backup server. So harddrive failure is not really a problem. And deleting or corrupting files or databases manually on accident can happen, but they can be revived sometimes or restored from last nights backup And yes, the backup server could die, but the drives should be fine still. And yes, it can burn down but then you have a mirrored drive on the home lab. I think its rather difficult to delete stuff on the bps on accident. I would just not delete anything manually. If its too full, either increase the pruning job for old snapshots or just put in a mother pair of drives.

Maybe I am cheap but its also fun I think. Also I feel like my data is actually mine now?

To throw in yet another opinion that does not help you right now: My friend has a backup server at his place and I have our home lab at my place.

Just a rough calculation: 2 8tb drives for a mirror is 150€ each (during a normal market, and when we bought it), so 300 combined. That is 60€per year if we assume they die quickly after 5years.

With a very light old desktop pc that is power efficient we can reach 25w

That is: 25w/1000 (for kW) * 24h * 365d * 0.35€/kW = 78€ per year of energy.

That is combined 138€/year.

The hetzner storage box is 24€/Month @ 10tb

So that is 288€/year.

So I would argue that its even cheaper to pay a friend to put a small old pc at their place and paying them 40ct /kwh is still cheaper than the clouds? Assuming you can find hdds at a reasonable price. But I could find cheap used offers with a runtime of 3y for 100€.

If you only need 1tb, its not worth it to run your own storage, as the power stays roughly the same:

Hetzner: 3,8€/1tb * 12m = 46.6€ So allone the power of running the backup server is not worth it financially.

For the 5tb plan: 12€*12m=144€ so that is the break even point I assume, as drives don’t scale too mich with price?

Ich bau grade mit einem Kumpel eine Kasse für unseren space, wo man sich mit der Schließkarte per nfc registrieren kann und mit einem barcode scanner ein Produkt scannen kann, wodurch sich dann der creditscore des users verringert.

Pi’s sind cool für kleine Anwendungen, aber alles außer dem 3er sind finde ich viel zu teuer. Da würde ich jedem mittlerweile einen mini pc oder nuc oder so empfehlen, da ist ne ssd drin, hat mehr Leistung und ist zuverlässiger

Da musst du bitte etwas elaborieren. Ist ein Handschuh typologisch gesehen nicht eher eine Ebene statt einer Sphäre? Bzw ich versteh es schon, wenn man die Materialstärke mit einbezieht und die Strecken im Material möglichst minimiert, dass ein Handschuh dann eine Kugel ist.

Ich Frage mich ob der markt bald gesättigt ist und es sich erholt oder ob einfach größere Fertigungskapazitäten benötigt werden?
