

Oh man, people who knows me would swear I could have written that comment. But truth be told I have two use cases for ga: hands free timers while cooking, and sending SMS messages while driving. Ok maybe three because setting a destination in google maps while driving is also pretty neat.
Calendar and the rest, no thank you. I can do that perfectly fine manually.






My favorite is saying "send an SMS to [SO’s name]“ reading it correctly recognized on the display, only to be told “sorrry I can’t send SMS messages yet”, giving the exact same instruction again right after, and now I can send the SMS.
But when gemini installed itself and insisted that I use it instead, I got so pissed that it lasted for about 15km of my commute home, before I pulled over and got rid of it. Now I didn’t just have to fight speech recognition, now I had to argue with a glorified toaster about putting on music.
