I use Opera GX or whatever it’s called and love it. Guess I’m the outlier? I assumed it was relatively popular.

What’s really dumb is that VR could actually take off if it was done correctly, but these billionaires can’t think of literally anything besides profit so they base the entire model around that and just expect people to want it. If he had dumped an iota into further development of VR tech, and invested in some actual original VR content, games, etc then people would flock to it. That and actual affordable VR since everything is still overpriced since it’s considered a niche market.

This is part of the reason I want to get a Bigscreen Beyond 2. I’d love to have a VR headset light enough to try and do VR desktop just to see how functional it is for work. Currently I have the Vive Pro 2 and that shit is heavy. Also does anyone have a recommended VR desktop app? The one in the article isn’t released yet right?

At this point I’m just assuming we’re looking at a greedflation scenario again. They’re jacking up prices for an assumed increase in demand due to AI. It’s bullshit market manipulation for profit. Also fuck AI I’m fucking sick of this shit already.

Yup. Completely agree. It’s still relatively easy to meet people in say MMORPGs, but that isn’t for everyone. I used to love PvP games, especially the BF franchise but it’s just not the same anymore when they skill set you every match and it’s just chaos until the round ends.

One of the biggest issues I have with online currently is that Corps run it from the ground up. It used to be if you wanted you could host a server or pay for one to be hosted, set game mechanics how you’d like, hell even run mods. You could then find like minded individuals and form clans and have a blast. Now you’re forced into their model, and if it fails well fuck you. I would have LOVED for Anthem to be successful. The gameplay that was there was amazing, just undercooked. Knowing the insanity of individuals when they’re passionate about something, I have no doubt this game would have been more successful if they’d released private servers and modding tools.

Ah, my bad. Didn’t spot it. Thanks!

I thoroughly enjoyed 4 and 5 and have a soft spot for Japan so I’m excited. By the way couldnt get to the link you posted. Not working, sticks on a verification page. Also for something this simple it would have been nice to have the screenshot just include the mistake date? Not really a reason to read a whole article but maybe I’m just being picky.

If you’re looking for good titles to acquire through GoG I’d recommend Cyberpunk 2077. Game goes on sale pretty regularly but is 100 percent worth it at full price. That is of course if you’re into FPS. I could gush about it but I’ll leave this short haha.

Can’t believe I called that.

One of the super dark quests in the game

Wasn’t this from CP2077?

I’m confused on the second one. Can we currently not sue these assholes for invading our houses without a warrant?

Sorry to hear that. I’m speaking from experience when I’m telling you it gets better. I got ganked probably a handful of time and since then haven’t run into them. I’m telling you you should really give it a shot again. It may have been this was instated after you gave up as I’m not sure when it was put into place.

Same here. It has seriously been an amazing game I’ve played the shit out of strictly based on that. Now if they’d adjust the blueprint drop rate a bit…I’d be ecstatic.

This I HARD agree on. Non-optional resets / wipes in Tarkov got tedious as fuck, especially redoing the quest lines over and over. It’s super nice they make it optional.

Honestly by what I’ve seen and heard it’s minimum reward for a whole lot of effort. I guess it’s great for no lifers, kids, and streamers but idk, just no real draw. Especially with how crazy low drop rates are for blueprints. I have a ton of hours and still don’t have everything.

I swear to god this game is my biggest lament of the last 10 years. It had so much potential and they royally fucked it up from day 1. What was released was amazing but then it was quickly found there were game breaking issues that literally broke core gameplay due to how gear calculations were done. Not like a ‘oh let’s patch this’ but like ‘jesus Christ this is broken at the foundation’ type. It was also released way too early. They literally had time gated bullshit just to try and slow players down so they wouldn’t burn through content too quickly. Anyway, my rant aside what was there was glorious and I hope at some point we get a spiritual successor because damn was it fun and DAMN was it beautiful.

Just to save people a click it’s $25 to get the collection, so approx $3.50ish each for 7 titles? I can speak to Trepang II, solid game, but can’t speak to the others. The first Dead Island was fun.
Not even sure why but this cracked me up. Appreciate the laugh man.
