Pile of dust 2028
I mean the dude is literally Jewish and pro Israeli, it isn’t even surprising he would have an L take like that
10/10 roast in the comments
It’s a shame because my 11yo laptop runs beautifully on X11 but terribly on Wayland with KDE. I hope the issues with Wayland optimization work out on my laptop before I’m forced to switch
There are violent and nonviolent ideologues on all sides of the political spectrum. There have been violent Marxists, fascists, anarchists, liberals, vegans. Just the same, there have been nonviolent members of all of these ideologies. I wouldn’t consider some tankie or neofash teen making hexbear or /pol/ posts in their bedroom to be violent.
I would say that the fascist and the Marxist are equally threatening to my safety, all else equal.
KDE + Arch is such a great combo. I’m using it on a 10yo laptop (though admittedly it’s a rather beefy lappy for it’s gen, a 2014 ZBook g2, with 32 GB ram)
KDE can be slow on lower spec devices but it is so great to use and it was trivially easy to alter keyboard shortcuts, default application, startup behavior, etc.
Today I used Alt+Space to open krunner, typed the name of a C script I’m working on, and it pulled up search results for the file, as well as relevant websites I visited related to that title, and in that moment I realized how much I missed out growing up with Explorer.
Help I am being attacked.
My world simultaneously viciously hating Arch when something breaks, then absolutely loving Arch, then hating it again when something breaks, then loving it again
Pizza mortgage lmao
Brb, I’m gonna take one of these out and apply to Caleb Hammer
I was on EndeavourOS for a couple of years and now I’m just on vanilla Arch with KDE and I also couldn’t imagine just dumping all of my knowledge and problem solving workflow by jumping to a different distro or architecture. I certainly can’t see myself ever using Windows again. It’s very weird to imagine that if I ever wanted a flagship computer I would probably buy an Apple.
Yes and it treats fungal infections in tree frogs. I’m not trying to say that these medicines work the way that Gibson is saying they do, but the whole “horse dewormer” talking point is dishonest as it makes it out like these medicines have only a single use. I doubt ivermectin treats covid or whatever. But anytime someone just throws out these minimizing points as if it’s impossible to use things in more than one way only makes me doubt the validity of their claims.
Not even micro. There is a nonzero chance you’ve ingested the bristles at some point
Flawless comment, agreed with every word you said. This script is digital herpes
Something else, all of the GNU coreutils have their own info [command]
terminal command, and often the info page is incredibly easy to read, full of example pages and highly granular descriptions of flags, error messages, and the like.
I was very satisfied with Bash for a long time until my friend got me using Zsh. I still am not sure i need Zsh over Bash honestly. Command autocomplete is obnoxious
I probably would have been better off maintaining Vyvanse into adulthood, but I quit taking it as soon as I had the ability to make the decision to. I felt dull, emotionless, my appetite sucked. Yes, ADD sucks and it has caused issues in my personal life, but I am who I am and I accept those parts of myself. Would my grades have been better in college? Would I have been better at maintaining social events? Sure. But sometimes you just have to build good habits to overcome whatever you can.
I quit Sync months ago, I’ve been using Voyager and I love it. It actually has better functionality than Sync and somehow it manages to stay within 12 months of being up to date with the rest of the Fediverse.
Frankly LJD burned any good will and I don’t plan on ever returning. Save your money and time and go with a FOSS alternative.
The day I figured out the mouse cheese puzzle was a major milestone of my childhood
Thank you for the recommendation, I just switched everything to FUTO. I’m hoping it well grow to be as accurate as SwiftKey used to be years back…
