Id say the arrest came as a response to the drink driving more than the being drunk at work. Sounds like she was smart enough to shut the fuck up and lawyer up.
She was drunk at work, her car was at work but unless you give them any more information than that the burden of proof is on them. If you admit that you hadnt had anything to drink since last night and literally anyone saw you driving to work BAM they have you. But “I want a lawyer” and say nothing else and they have to prove you didnt pound a water bottle of vodka in the carpark.
This is your friendly reminder to shut the fuck up when being questioned.
If tactical turn based is your jam Ive been having a lot of fun with “Showgunners” its a running man cyberpunk themed tactical.
Its pretty good.
Please please dont suck.
Everyone wants revolution, nobody wants to lead the charge.
Be the change you want to see in the world, do it yourself.
I cant wait to jump on Amazon and order my net launcher.
I mean, I’m only reading the quotes and its laughably offensive. Like if you told me that was a sketch written by great comedy writers depicting an absolutely terrible comedian doing a bit Id say they went too far down stupid lane. Its so nuts it sounds like a parody.
Wouldnt it be amusing if everyone jumped on his facebook and asked him to review the Tec-9. I’m sure his depiction of what he thinks the average user of that gun would look and sound like wouldnt be at all horrifying.
Dont be fishist man! How dare you assume his species. If he identifies as a salmon its fine, so long as he doesnt swim up my stream to spawn I’m fine with it.
You can do both you know, its not an either or situation.
Thats a seperate part of the same problem. They already have private buyers beat on buying power, less supply doesnt hurt them at all.
The thing is Lemmy is a pretty terrible cross section of society. Theres plenty of people in inner city apartments with solid careers who are fed the fuck up with living in an overpriced shoebox when they could buy a house in the suburbs, but those are overpriced too.
The more affordable all types of housing get the more everyone benefits, more supply is the only way to counter more demand.
So they are building these for the fun of it?
The more houses built the better supply gets, the better supply gets the more prices will drop. Every one of these thats built and someone in the inner city scrapes together the cash to buy in suburbia frees up an apartment.
If we dont build more demand will just keep outstripping supply more and more.
Lemmy: Man fuck housing developers!
Also Lemmy: Man I cant find a house!
Edit: Yes affordability is the problem, but if demand keeps outrunning supply the situation will NEVER improve. The only way landlords will start to bring their prices down is when the tenant is the one with options.
I think you’re absolutely right. Personally I see the next big switch will be to handhelds. The ability to just pick my switch up and take it wherever I’m going is the primary reason I own it. They will do the premium one with the screen and controls and the “lite” edition will need a tv.
I wouldnt be surprised if MS and Sony eventually step out of the hardware game either entirely or mostly and simply licence out a “Playstation phase # compatable” certification to others (that you need a PSN subscription to use) so you know that that Steam Deck/MSI whatever/Asus handheld will play anything from the X generation of playstation titles or older available.
You’re right. Everythings fucked, why try at all lets just roll over and take it.
Fuck Tunisia, all my homies hate Tunisia.
You need to think on a Macro scale with stuff like this. The fact is that this voice got loud enough to get a response, and thats how the ball gets rolling.
Most politicians wouldnt consider the videogamers and tech crowd to be a great demographic to chase, but if theres one politician who needs an identity… one who thinks “I can be the “Pro-consumer rights” member. Videogames just being shut off, rights to books and movies you “bought” just being revoked…yeah thats a cause thats hard to argue against. Makes me look like a champion of the people. Especially young people.”
It got a “Yes, we heard you.” It doesnt mean you stop.
Nope, Australia.
But thats a company policy. My point is that if you dont like the policy, dont take the code for a free playtest of the game.
Pretty sure that the law in Aus is 7 times, but let’s be real if it’s more than 3 times you’re either lost as shit, don’t know how roundabouts work at all or just fucking around.
