The c-stick is technically an analog stick. Take apart a Gamecube controller and you’ll see that uses potentiometers just like the left stick. It might have a gate on the stick that snaps to certain positions. I seem to remember something like that when I replaced mine.

I use the 8bitdo Pro for platforming because of the d-pad makes it feel like a SNES controller. And the 8bitdo Ultimate for games where I need joysticks.

Huh? I thought there was a bump out on the GBC cartridge that prevented you from inserting it into a Game Boy? Also the notch cut out of the corner that prevents the power switch from operating. Am I mis-remembering?
I would kill to just have a simple app to play dominoes on my phone with no ads and no BS. I almost found one. It didn’t have ads between games, but it did have a stupid micro transaction scheme or online play or something. Grumble. Grumble.
This might just drive me to start developing apps. I can probably do the basic stuff but I don’t know where to begin programming the cpu opponent…
