15·2 years agoProbably also includes counseling or psych treatment for depression and anxiety and suicidality related to this plus preventing doctors from using preferred names or pronouns while also closing resources that these kids could have turned to for community support. The cruelty is the point.

2·2 years agoI was half remembering a quote from someone back in the 80s that pops up as a repost every so often.
Edit: it was Clifford Stoll in Newsweek 1995. Pretty funny how wrong he got almost everything.

12·2 years agoThese radical leftist policies that hate money are Obamacare, abortions, jobkillers, Marxist, communist, Leninist, atheist, Jews, Muslims, French, gay and trans agendas, grooming, protesting, unions, paper cuts, workers rights, pronouns, bathrooms, diversity, work from home, and liberal college elites all rolled into one. And it’s coming out of your tv, taking your guns, and making you use an electric range in a coastal city.
It’s like they aren’t even trying anymore, just sprinkling emotional buzzwords around regardless of the topic.

2·2 years agoWhen you start to look at power structures all sorts of dark stuff falls out. This “culture of expectations for billionaires and the lazies” serves a particular group and it didn’t just happen to develop that way.
We have record profits but just not enough for raises. Now get back in the office and quit complaining about the not inflation definitely not happening everywhere anymore.

222·2 years agoI played the whole thing on ps5, did about 90 hours. It’s good now. Especially the mantis blades that come out of your arms and the quick hacks that let you control the cameras then hack all the guards so they shoot themselves or fry their implants. I did a ninja hacker build. Totally op but it was still fun. And I’ve heard good things about the gorilla arms.
The city feels more alive on ps5, lots of people, and I never had any issues with the cars or motorcycle glitching. If you like cyberpunk stuff it’s worth it and the dlc is coming out. There are areas where you can tell where they had to pull back, like the clothing options which all suck and the body stuff which has no purpose or unless you are changing clothes. Also I didn’t like V’s voice character at first but it grew on me. The acting is good all around.
