Just bought a ROG Ally. It’s my first forced use of 11 and the device is great, however Windows has never been more of a pain in the ass.

Get you some plastic restore to take that yellow out.
Unless that’s your jam.
Trying not to pick titles with sequels/franchises
Slay the Spire
Returnal
Stardew Valley
Elden Ring
Death Stranding
Honorable mention : Overwatch 2 (I honestly can’t see it as a true sequel, just an update)
Yeah, something smells off. My guess is they just don’t have enough exciting things to showcase.
No one is telling them to spend millions on a presentation. They could literally hire a presenter and hit play on their trailer playlist.
I miss the mods of CS1. Move it and the traffic manager were must haves. You’d think they would have brought those features into 2.
The built-in path connections are so bad.
Because it actually can help.
I have light switches that don’t turn on main lights when I walk into the house. Smart devices allow me to be physically safer in my house.
I can have my ac system not run full blast when I’m not home, I can save money.
I can see who is at my door and communicate with them without physically opening the door, therefore, I don’t have to draw my gun if stuff is sketchy.
Think about disabled people, they can easily control their space with just about any device.
I am NOT a defender of big tech, but there are use cases where it can improve your life immensely.
Publicly, they state it is a rolling 5-10 second analyzer, and nothing gets recorded until you say the word.
Nobody has ever had sex outside of a bed.
Going to Russ and Daughters ruined me on other bagels
Remember, the money is in the service, not the hardware. Battle pass on Playstation is a printer for money tapping a new market.
I’d love to run just Linux, but I don’t want to hassle with dual boot for the couple of competitive shooters I do play.
It sucks because all the other games I play would run without a problem.
It is literally a tap to enter nfc pad. There is no need for ANYTHING listed in those permissions.
Bonus points for us having to register with our real names, phone numbers and addresses for access.
It’s the multi-player side that is still an issue though. The anticheat software is a pain.
Are you me? I’ve been thinking of trading my Switch for one. Stardew is easily my most played game on it.
Double Dash was peak MK. It was so rage inducing with my friends that they weren’t allowed to be on the same team cause they would always fight.
I think AI has its place.
That place isn’t shoved down the throat of the consumer.
This is the other part I was looking for!
Orange Box 2 confirmed
Damn, Asus used to be THE one to buy, like unquestionably.
Honestly, Windows is my only gripe. I did choose knowing it because I wanted not only Steam access, but xbox cloud/gamepass and any other launcher. When using the built in Armory Crate software, which is their custom gaming software, it runs great, almost flawless. The software toggles for framerate limits, refresh rates etc is really well done.
Hardware wise, it’s light which I love, the screen is really solid and audio actually is impressive. I know fully cranked specs will drain the battery quite quick. So far though with stardew valley and Xbox cloud, I’ve been surprised at battery life, and haven’t felt a need for an external battery yet.
Plus I paid less than the cheapest Steam Deck despite me getting the 512gb version too.
