At this point all my systems (except the Windows machine) are running Kubuntu, and NGL it’s awesome.
I do a lot of photography and I share it on my DeviantArt and Pixelfed.
Both are SFW.
At this point all my systems (except the Windows machine) are running Kubuntu, and NGL it’s awesome.
Mine will be this year, I only have 1 system left to put Linux on.
I’m just currently learning some RAW photo editors before I cancel my Lightroom sub.
Fusion360 was dropped a few months ago when FreeCAD went 1.0 (after I learned it enough of course)
“You should have driven this much after owning the car this long, so we’re going to put that in the odometer.”
Was my guess.
Probably to void warranties, make cars come back sooner for preventative maintenance, and come back sooner for leases.
I’ve started using FreeCAD for CAD work, I’ve used Fusion 360 for 5 years before trying FreeCAD (again, I tried it a few years ago) and it works pretty good.
It’s different and it’s taking some getting used to but it’s working out quite nicely so far.
Slavery never ended in the US, it just got better PR.
“Only prisoners can be sentenced to slave labor.”
Makes a while bunch of stuff punishable by prison time and makes prison sentences longer.
And not just memes and shitposts you find elsewhere
Make things and share
It ain’t gonna be perfect but that’s half the fun
I’d say there’s also some corners of Lemmy that feel like the slightest provocation leads to an absolute dog pile of people being super angry looking for a fight.
That aspect blows but it’s usually helped by making sure that the instance your account is on is federated (or specifically NOT federated) with specific other instances.
Though this place is so much more chill than Reddit it’s fucking mindblowing
Holy fuck!
That’s fucking awful!
How I’d do it is basically
72 * (10+3)
(72 * 10) + (72 * 3)
(720) + (3*(70+2))
(720) + (210+6)
(720) + (216)
936
Basically I break the numbers apart into easier chunks and then add them together.
On the note of “keeping your phone in airplane mode”:
No Bluetooth enabled devices is a good point too.
Those devices broadcast identifiable data whenever Bluetooth is enabled, and that data can be logged very easily. If an app has Bluetooth permissions it has the capability of logging that info. Or a simple device that logs nearby Bluetooth devices. About 2 years ago I placed a device in my apartment next to a road and within a week I had the habits of my neighbors logged with accurate timestamps. I took that device apart after that, it’s a macropad now.
So for the sake of privacy, no Bluetooth headphones, watches, etc near your “Go bag” phone when it has a battery in it. IMO avoid such devices in general.
“1v1 me on Rust bro”
Ah those were the days
Does COD still have that map? The last time I played it was in MW2 on the Xbox 360.
I’m liking Linux Mint and Kubuntu personally.
Especially Kubuntu for my main desktop PC, Linux Mint for my little clunker PC I use to run my 3D printers.
Keep talking about it abroad
Drinking soap makes my stomach upset and drinking alcohol makes me upset, that means I’m a human right?
Basically Lightroom is for editing photos in a specific format, there’s a couple alternatives that work well on Linux. Primarily Darktable and RawTherapee.
It’s really good at what it does and is basically an industry standard.
But Adobe being Adobe I really want to stop giving them money but I need to replace it first.
Mine that’s still on Windows is while I’m transitioning away from Lightroom.
It’s the only thing left at this point that’s holding me there.
I would just dual boot a system for when I need to use it but I really wanna stop using Adobe software for a number of reasons.
I’ve already switched my mom and grandma to Linux, and I’ve personally only got 1 PC still on Windows. Its days are numbered though.
I’m shocked!
Shocked I tell you!
Only 60%‽
Blows my mind that it’s so low.

I load trucks for a living so I have access to outside really quick and easy
Though I don’t know how, I’d be surprised if it wasn’t possible.
