Is this a scp derivative? I mean, I don’t think that SCP have exclusivity for anomalous writing, but I don’t see how this is different. Ilike how Qntm did in his rewrite, giving him full control of how the foundation is structured.

Yeah, I won’t start eating meat just because of a annoying person online, I just find this all or nothing attitude among vegans to be hurtful towards the cause of making people eat less meat. I probably won’t label myself, but I will continue to promote vegan/vegetarian like lifestyle.
I’m fine with that, but I was trying, but now I see that it doesn’t matter, so I won’t keep trying.
All or nothing, got it, I won’t be vegan then.

Linux@programming.dev•cpx Introduced as a Faster, Modern Replacement for Linux cp
3·12 days agoI want people to use the software I write, and people don’t want dependencies in their projects that are gpl because you either need to change your project to gpl or go through a very tedious process of providing object files for the entire project. That’s why I use mit for libraries.
However, I don’t want to allow companies to just take my finished binaries and resell them as their services, so I use GPL for binaries and apps. They are free to reimplement the app using the libraries, but I at least want them to work for it a little.
Also, I have found it easier to get contributions to projects that are licensed under mit than gpl, though this might just be insufficient sample size.

234·1 month agoWhy do ai peeps got to make these strange names for essentially just giving more text to an llm. It’s not MCP, it’s just searching an online database for more text. RAG is just searching a local database for more text, but fancier. There is functionally no difference between an “ai agent” and the ai you talk to.

Now this looks interesting. I personally use chezmoi and scripts to install and manage the apps that I want. Having a dedicated manager would be ideal.
Edit: it says that disabling backends is currently not supported, does that mean that it doesn’t worn in environments without pacman for example?
