Sounds like the type of builds I use to do. Generally looking for most bang for the buck so the power supply was more than necessary. Handy when upgrading unless a new socket comes out (ugh).

oh it certainly was some sort of astroturf. Previous to that my comments I felt like I was the only one who would mention it. Seems like the thing with zorin 8 being spammed has had a sorta streisand effect but I still like it. Also someone keeps commenting all the versions cost money so there is a kind of reverse astro turf going as well. Its kinda funny given its an irish company and with the popularity of european things. Its just the way things are.

So I use zorin and I feel its the best for typical windows users and anyone who just wants to install and get to immediately using thier pc. So basically its the lazy distro. Lot of software out of box including wine with play on linux so right after installation you could run or install windows programs if you wanted to (I would check out linux alternatives first). That being said my personal opinion if someone wants to run games is to dual boot a gaming distro or install a gaming distro and use it as your main one. Further I don’t recommend dual booting windows. If someone wants to keep windows around my sugestion, if they have it, is to install linux on your last older laptop. Anyone who had a machine that did not outright die and upgraded in the last ten years will be pleasantly surprised how well linux runs on older hardware compared to windows on newer. Once you have weaned yourself 100% off windows and realize how useless it is then install on the current laptop. Given if you don’t still have your older one then by all mean dual boot. I initially did that but have reversed the setup and now have linux on my better laptop as I was so annoyed with windows wasting the good one.

From my experience if you have something working then its fine. I mean if you are going to add the games and add them to the steam menu so she just needs to click on them to play. If she is not expecting to go out and find games and such which I assume she is not given she could not with the switch.

Im pretty much always against censorship. As described it does not sound sexual as its just nudity and this riding thing. I mean nobody talks about lady gadiva like she fucked a horse. The hill to die on is weird to me to use in this situation. Its one conversation about something that neither of us has any ability to effect.

well of course. if the state said take it down it would be different but this situation does not seem to have any legal issues.

holy crap I just looked it up and there are supposedly 32bit only versions of windows 10. I thought for sure that ended with xp.

They were common enough in movie stores when I was in high school and college. I feel our society has gotten just that much more prudish in the new millenia.

I don’t think obligated as much as they should not be concerned and there should be no backlash to them for stocking it as long as its separated appropriately. Video storms had porn rooms in the back of the store with some signage and people seemed to be able to handle it and get its an adult thing. Heck maybe even have a second but related steam.XXX site where you have to do bullshit verification to peruse. Then require any game that goes over some threshold of whatever to only be visible there. people can login with their steam accounts and have them connected provided they jump the additional hoops. these things are not impossible to work with.

yeah but thats the point of X. its not R. I mean clock work orange is all kinds of effed up but its a great movie. X means graphic sex, or violence, or worse. I think they had another designation at some point that was like super X but I think folks never really paid attention to it.
