And the cult of the dead cow was born!
This would work well with the dna fountain encoding method

Living my best life with Guix!
Oh that sucks she’s sick again. Hoping she pulls through.
I’ve had a similar experience with Guix.
Cats are the cutest paper weights.
The new Recall feature they’re trying to push is creepy as fuck. No thanks.
Glad I moved to linux a few years ago so I don’t have to worry about any of this trash.
Perhaps something like IPFS would help mitigate this. Popular stuff would be pinned by someone.
Never used nix but it’s goals are similar to guix. Worth checking out if you ever get extra hw.
Gnu Guix. By default Guix uses only free libre software, but there are ways to install it with a non-free kernal. Systemcrafters has a guide (this is what I used) as well as non-guix (guix repo for non free software).
It’s always discouraging to me that when the topic of alternate voting methods comes up, RCV is always mentioned as the way to go. It seems to be the alternative voting method most people are familiar with.
RCV has it’s problems and there are demonstrably better voting systems such as you said STAR voting.
STAR voting, or ranked robin are possibilities as well. RCV has it’s problems. https://www.equal.vote/star_vs_rcv
If you want ranking Ranked Robin is better than RCV https://www.equal.vote/ranked_robin
More like: Looks Cool
Versus how it is now: Looks cool
or if you have a shit ton of tabs open: lo… co…
That’s badass!
I the portability of the steamdeck. Years ago I had a desktop gaming PC that over time I used less and less because the lass thing I wanted to do after sitting at a desk all day was to sit at a desk some more.
I bring my deck with me when I travel for work, go on vacation, when my wife and I spend the afternoon at my parents. I’ll even bring it with me if I have to bring my car to the shop and I have to wait. I play games in my recliner, and in bed. I’ve never been a frame rate snob so the steamdeck suits me just fine.
Apparently, sh.itjust.dont.work (on everist)
Nah, they’re saying thanks Dent for getting me this tower.
Yeah Linux is great at supporting old hardware. I had an old desktop I built in 2009 lying around doing nothing. So I installed guix w/ a non-libre kernel onto it and brought it back to life!
Hold my lube!
