Most young people do not pay income taxes currently, only the wealthy ones. So this reduction would only apply to already rich people.

Meh, if your house is built correctly, it is not needed. And you also get used to it.
I just use a fan during the night, which does the job without having to use so much electricity.
I’ve never had AC at home, and that’s also the case for most people I know. I live in the south of France.
I’m still using my FP3 that is now close to 4 years old. It’s still working great. I just changed the battery once, but that was trivial to do. I didn’t have to change anything else, but most parts are still available in their store.
I never really understood the need for such apps when mail clients such as Thunderbird exist.
Never ate any, and I don’t know of any restaurant close by that prepares them.
I heard about it, but the issue I usually have with other layouts is that I find myself looking for “infrequent” symbols a lot. Maybe this one would be easier to get used to than other layouts such as Bépo since, as you said, it is relatively compatible with regular AZERTY.
I use the FR-AZERTY layout. You honestly get used to the layout you have to work with.
I fully agree with you. I feel like 99% of open world games sacrificed the story and gameplay in the process.
The instance works really well :)
I don’t use it much, but I do appreciate the one I have on my phone, since I don’t always have my BT earbuds with me. Whereas I usually always have some cheap wired earbuds somewhere with me.
Any reasons why you do not consider Mull, or even simply Firefox on android ? Mull works really well for me and can really be seen as the Librewolf equivalent for Android.
I think that I fully understand how you feel. It’s pretty much why I stopped playing online games. I want to be able to not think about being good or absolutly winning every single game. Most of the time, I would rather prefer trying out “dumb” stuff in the game or simply having random conversations while having fun.
I really miss these days where games were more than just the game itself.
I also feel that newer games only focus on the competitive aspect.
Same here. I used to heavily use emacs, but when I changed job, it was much easier to simply use vscode instead of making emacs work properly in the new work environment.
Maybe if I find some time, I may go back to emacs since I miss a few features from it.
Oh that’s nice to know !
Can you simply use a signal backup to move to Molly ? And can you go easily back to Signal, if required in the future ?
Poorly advertised is an understatement, I never heard about this within Reddit xD I always thought that it was a third-party thing.
It is indeed similar to the “Local” feed from Lemmy then. However, it doesn’t have the “I’m part of a common family” feeling that I see in an instance like jlai.lu where we know that all users from the instance see the same content.
But TIL, thank you :)
I agree, I feel like most of the “feed” issues are simply because users are in big instances where the “Local” feed indeed becomes meaningless.
Something that would however be cool would be a way to view the Local feed from another instance, without having to actually go to the other instance.
You clearly do not know how things work in France. We have tons of things fiscally in place that make it so that in practice, you have to earn much more than that to truly pay taxes.
I don’t have time currenty to enumerate all of that, but I’ll come back to you later if I don’t forget.
