Looking at the Nix package, it seems like it just enables the Meson flag “enable_gamescope_wsi_layer” and adds the package “vulkan-headers” to the build inputs. Looking at the AUR package it uses vulkan-headers but idk what meson flags it uses.

I had this issue when I was using -F fsr, you could try disabling that if you’re using it. I also have to do ENABLE_HDR_WSI=0, since I have that enabled for MPV but setting it to 1 makes Gamescope break.
My current launch options are ENABLE_HDR_WSI=0 DXVK_HDR=1 gamescope -f -H 2160 --force-grab-cursor --hdr-enabled --hdr-debug-force-output --hdr-itm-enable -- env MANGOHUD=1 %command%
. I may also have ENABLE_GAMESCOPE_WSI=1 set as well, you could try that.
Using NixOS with Linux 6.8, Plasma 6.1, gamescope-wsi_git, and an RX 7600.
If you’re looking for a similar type of game, I played GRIS recently which reminded me quite a bit of this.
I played with my friend over Discord and somehow we got matched with each other the first time, so we didn’t get to play with strangers or anything. Still was fun though.
They said it won’t be backported to 24.05. It seems like it’s available in unstable now though.
It’s merged into NixOS but it will take a day or two to be compiled and saved in the binary cache. You can track that here.
Croc, although it’s command-line only.
Syncthing is also great but may not be what you’re looking for.
There’s lots of FOSS music players, but none of them have a volume slider / preamp. The Android volume slider is always either too loud or quiet so I have to make fine adjustments using the preamp in JetAudio. If someone could add that to an existing music player that’d be cool.
Not a mood tracking app, but I’ve been using Loop Habit Tracker for like the past two years and quite like it.
I use Geddit occasionally, I don’t know if it supports voting or commenting though since I just browse.
Sounds kinda like NixOS, although that’s not platform-agnostic.
I actually do this with NixOS impermanence lol. The things I need are symlinked from a different partition and the stuff I don’t need automatically gets wiped clean.
You can also run the game at 1080p and use FSR to upscale it to native resolution, that’s what I often do on my 4k monitor.
I believe Syncthing isn’t on iOS.
On System Settings’ Night Light page, the time input fields for manual time mode are no longer a nightmare, because they’ve been replaced with a set of spinboxes (Natalie Clarius, Plasma 6.1)
Oh thank goodness, that page has always felt a bit weird.
I can play games and watch videos in HDR though
If you can’t fix it you could try running the game inside Gamescope, it can help with weird alt+tab issues.
Switched like a year ago or so, not really any difference on my AMD pc and Intel laptop. Now I need wayland for HDR on Plasma 6 so there’s no way I could go back personally, as well as the great multi-monitor and fractional scaling handling.
There’s browser extensions for it
Wikipedia has a list, it may not have every single one but it should have most of them.
