Not sure there will be any.
Not sure there will be any.
Isn’t there maybe a way to keep the factory os and selectively disable google services. Sort of no-script style? Not too familiar with the android ecosystem tbh, other than google is on top of the food chain, haha.
Yet, for some unknown reason some treat it as a rite of passage.
I have been using a t450 for the past 5 years as my only pc. For about 4 years I used Arch without any major issues, but my “optimizations” became too much to maintan. For the past year I’ve been using Kinoite and it’s brilliant.
Everything runs good enough out of the box and in my daily use I haven’t noticed that I’m running a 9 year old machine. I even play games that should have no business running on that crusty old thing. Also, the stability is divine.
The hypersub sounds difficult, but it’s really easy. I know you are hungry now, but it’s worth it to wait a few years. We’ll make enough hypersubs for everyone by 2028.

Can’t beleive that Uwuntu didn’t come up…
More like yeetcode, amIwrong?
I’m looking into restomods myself. No need to buy a new car and rip it up.
Exactly what it needs to be…
I wish google was as good at procrastinating as I am.
Windows equivalent of 80s nostalgia music genres. :)
I can see the new EU directive about labelling chromium based browsers, haha.
I’ve been using it for a few years now and by now picking out the scripts for site navigation and finding the relavant cdn is pretty much automatic now. If I find a site that is just an absolute js clusterfuck, I just run it in porno mode and let the scrips loose and hope for the best until I find what I went there for. I even take the time to reject cookies manually as per my right, haha. Maybe it will show up on some stat somewhere, a flaccid message, but a message none the less.
What did you think of the recent deal the EU made with the giants? As an EU citizen I find it concerning, because it might be a slippery slope.
And if you are feeling extra frisky, install noscript to pick and choose what sources of js you are willing to run and/or be terrified/furious of all the non-relevant scripts sites run.
Love the idea! Shopify as the highest tier sponsor? Not so much.
