Probably not, since there has to be some processing of the noise to identify what it is. TheBackyardScientist did a video somewhat similar to that, here: https://piped.video/watch?v=4WSQqDHK1Yw

That is a really bold opinion, and honestly I don’t disagree.
Titanfall 2 is fun! I did the singleplayer in about 6 to 7 hours.
There is the factory seconds stock, which is cheaper, but RAM, storage, Wi-Fi card, power brick and expansion cards are sold separately. https://frame.work/products/factory-seconds-framework-laptop-13-diy-edition-11th-gen-intel-core Still over your price range though.
I was wondering where the dankpods would be
Iirc it was the mobile browser not blocking Microsoft trackers. Lemme check
Edit: can confirm, it was not blocking MS trackers, seems to have been due to legal terms. Link: https://techcrunch.com/2022/08/05/duckduckgo-microsoft-tracking-scripts/
In my eyes that makes it even worse
Just looked into it. If that closed source bit only has GUI stuff and has no tracking bits, which is what they claim, then it is probably alright. They mentioned something about community deobfuscation for theming based modding being alright with them (Which is really excellent! Props to the Vivaldi team for outright saying it’s chill to technically break their TOS for customization), so if the GUI code has been fully deobfuscated and no tracking things found in it I would probably trust it more than Brave.
Honestly, I don’t have a huge problem personally with closed source if I know it doesn’t have tracking stuff, but unfortunately companies have lots of incentive to lie and mislead about that.
If Chrome didn’t have a monopoly, and if I knew they didn’t have tracking stuff, I would very strongly consider switching from Firefox, because in my limited experience trying Vivaldi a while back, it is really great, and I love how customizable it is.
Vivaldi is closed source though, so I personally distrust it more than I distrust Brave.
If Vivaldi was FOSS then that might change things, but it isn’t.
ETA: I felt I should mention I am a bit of a hypocrite here as my preferred Lemmy client (Boost) isn’t FOSS, but I am too used to Boost when I still used Reddit, so any other client just doesn’t feel right.
Another app is LibreTube, although it uses piped, which I kinda dislike as it means (depending on the instance you connect to) videos load slower and the subscriptions don’t all get refreshed.
I know there is a toggle for disabling piped, but the subscription issue doesn’t seem to get affected.
Wait, lemmy allows editing of titles?
I think Google Shopping counts as a storefront
Keychron V2, choose the prebuilt with either red or brown switches. If those are too loud, you can swap the switches for silent ones. I am out of date with switches nowadays, but Rtings says TTC blueish-white are good, so that might not be a bad starting point for your research.
Quick edit: for the software, you could also run it in a Windows VM then give the VM access to the USB port.
Also, if you can make do without keyboard specific software, there are some new old stock BTC 5100C boards on eBay. You’ll need an AT to PS/2 converter if you want to connect it to a desktop, but all in it should be under $70 USD, excluding shipping. The layout (75% but really really weird) takes getting used to, and it doesn’t have N key Rollover if that is something that matters for you, but they are a quieter keyboard than most due to their BTC dome with slider mechanism.
Chyrosran22 did a review of the switch [link]. Fair warning: I don’t know if he does in that video, but he can use very non-PG language at times, so if you aren’t OK with that you might want to avoid the video.
Edit edit: also on mine the space bar stabilization is utter garbage, its been a while but I think only after a bandaid mod and lube was it acceptable. Legit I think even a person who just uses generic office keyboards might complain about the space bar, it’s that bad.
