Not who you asked, but I find myself turning it off more often than not. I just never see it as adding much to my experience. I tend to notice it more as annoyance more than anything else.

I think one of the devs stated 1.0 has improved Linux support as well. I know many of the steam deck users were looking forward to some improvements to it and controller support.
I get that side of it. I honestly rarely play any games these days looking for feeling like a sense of accomplishment. I just play for an escape more than that.
I also enjoy some grindy games. So the meta progression can fit that for me. But I certainly agree it isn’t for everyone. That is what makes gaming so great. Usually something out there for everyone and it would get pretty boring if they were all the same.
Like an abusive manipulative ex.
This is how I’ve seen it. I only like the Lights usually because I enjoy meta progression. I feel like it makes the difference for me to feel like I’m not just wasting my time. I should also mention I’m pretty terrible at games so the meta progression helps me make progress where other games I’d be stuck too often.
I see ads all the time now using various famous actors voices for spamming scammer crap. If someone didn’t know better they would absolutely think these actors were shilling the stuff.
Well, let’s just say them fighting hard to say he doesn’t confirm all of our suspicions.
Gotta love the Streisand effect on display. Wouldn’t have known he smells if they hadn’t “fired back.”
When this was posted before someone who followed it fairly closely and others like it, updated the thread with info because the article was behind current info. They had already stopped the trials for MS because it wasn’t working. So they began to just focus on one other, the Crohn’s, I believe. Figuring if they got one to work, they could go back to the others and get them on the right track.
I have MS, and while this is a new approach, there have been so many articles about treatments that end up going nowhere after the first excitement. So it is still very early to get hopes up.
Hope can be a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane, as Red said.
To be fair, I’m sure I’ll forget about this in less than an hour. Secret will be safe with me.
Yeah, it seems like they went on that buying spree to make themselves more attractive to sell.
I believe that is the one that his car was targeted, but she happened to be in it at the time when he was expected to be.
Nestlé to top it all off.
This is how I’ve used mine almost 100% of the time. I got it because a gaming laptop I had was getting a bit old. I use the Deck like I used that laptop. Moving from room to room as needed and hooked up to a TV in each.
I’m stuck in bed some days, so having something that is easily moved like the Switch has been great.
I think as men get older, we also tend to have less close friends than women. Or at least it sure seems to be that way for many. Saw it with my dad before we lost him last year. I see it with my brother and myself. It has brought me and my brother somewhat closer in that we text and talk more than we used to despite not living close and being pretty different personalizes.
I have a few close friends, but not male ones. I had to stop working at a young age and I feel that is when I stopped having a connection to any sort of male bonding.
But I agree, that it still seems unacceptable to open up, share feelings, and be vulnerable as a man. Probably why I have mostly had women as close friends most of my adult life.
I can’t get it to really play at all on Steam #eck, though I’ve heard others do. Mine either doesn’t load or crashes soon after it does.
I haven’t had a chance to see if there have been any further controller improvements since the Deck is my only way to play it currently. I hope they continue to try to refine it. They definitely made improvements from how it started.
I’m reminded of Leland Yee. California politician who was in favor of gun control all while doing gun running stuff himself. Guess he felt gun control was good for business.
I love Toby.
Their official statement says they are creating another group (without Unity in the name) that will cover any game engines. Which they specifically mentioned Unity, Unreal, and Godot.
Getting someone a gift they truly love is better than any gift I’ve ever received. You’re a good friend.
