If that’s all you need, I’d probably just start using Tubi, Pluto, and Plex. Pluto and Plex have some good live channels (Tubi might also, haven’t checked). Tubi and Plex have a decent catalogue of on demand shows and movies. Of course if you already have Netflix, it might be hard if there’s a specific show they’re used to.
For a long time my pihole was able to do it with some regex entries, but Google was pretty persistent about not letting that work, so for Android I just started doing Revanced.
Like you said, the web browser still blocks fine.
Since we’re all throwing out DNS options, I’ll toss in NextDNS
Presumably the ones that know how much MS gets for selling data.
You make that sound like anyone who’s able to rent a place is able to buy a place, but at least in the US, that’s not alwaxs the case. Sure the mortgage might be cheaper than rent in most cases, but being able to save up enough for that down payment takes a lot. I didn’t have the luxury of living with my parents after high school to save up enough for a down payment on a house, so I’ve had to rent places since then.
Sure maybe all housing should be free, there’s certainly enough homes in the US for that to be possible, but the rest of capitalist society makes that impossible, but that’s not the fault of every landlord ever. Some, sure, but not all.
Flipbook movies
It’s excessive now, but once it works, I’d much rather subscribe to drivethru AI than pay an acceptable living wage to some human. /s
Whenever I need a new profile picture for my TTRPG character, absolutely. Anything else? No thanks.
That still seems like a lot. Went to A Day To Remember last week for $25 and at the very least, I’d argue they’re less niche than Sleep Token. Godsmack will be around later this year for around $100.
I have used Spotify’s 15 free hours a month for shorter light novels, but beyond that, buying the rights to listen to a book, or buying more listening hours is very much not worth it through them.
Any particular reason you went from Tidal to Apple Music? I see a lot of people here recommending it, so I’d be interested to hear any negatives it has.
I think the feather was Yankee Doodle not Yankovic
Personally I’d prefer a flip with a smaller screen than a mm slimmer phone.
Did I know what each link was before clicking? Yes. Did I click each just to make sure? Also yes.
Just management things, they don’t do nested permissions, removed the ability to have groups auto added to collections and the desktop app has been broken for creating new entries in an organization because it can’t for some reason it can’t see collections, but that’s something that broke in an update and they just haven’t fixed for a few versions.
I was using Bitwarden up until I moved my email service to Proton. Now, I just use all their things, but I didn’t have any issues with Bitwarden personal. I do have some issues with their organization accounts though.
The phone app has it’s problems at times, things like resetting to the main page, and other little nuisances, but I really like Nebula, went so far as to pay for their lifetime deal.
I hate the ones that are just “open a case” and then they close the thread without saying what the fix ended up being, looking at you Veeam forums.
Included with this, promoting one of your shows before the one your watching starts should be considered an ad and not happen on ad free tiers, looking at you HBO and Paramount.
