I live in Florida (unfortunately). Cows are pretty common in my region.

In my experience, it’s idependently unless updating breaks a version dependency on another package. In that case pacman won’t update anything until the issue is resolved. I think I’ve only ever had this happen with AUR packages.
It’s through Proton, but the game runs flawlessly. Do note that you’re really going to want a controller for this one. Playing this with a keyboard is a miserable experience. Another thing is that there’s an unofficial tool for importing images over your custom graffiti, but it’s for Windows and I’ve never tried it with Wine.
Someone made a flowchart on what to play after finishing the series.
If you’re willing to check out non-RPGs, then I highly recommend Star Tropics (which is on the flowchart). The best way to describe it as a cross between MOTHER (setting) and The Legend of Zelda (gameplay). An interesting thing to note is that Star Tropics is a first-party Nintendo game that’s never been released in Japan despite being developed there.
Another thing is that there’s a point where you’ll need to get a password off of the Internet. The game originally came with a letter from the protagonist’s uncle that contained the password, which would only be revealed by dipping the letter in water.
The closest I can offer to what you’re asking for is that there are some e-readers that use Android. I own a Boox Page, which is one of those, and I’m happy with it. Boox products are a bit on the pricier side, but they do offer features that can be difficult to find on other manufacturers’ offerings, such as a micro SD slot.
There’s a homebrew app called ftpd that you could use, but it only works on a hacked system and that requires an SD card reader to initially setup.
It might be something like Qantas 72 where a fault in a component that supplies vital data to the flight computer caused two uncontrolled drops which resulted in over 100 people getting injured.
Dreamcast ads got real weird. I vividly remember this one ad for Seaman: It showed a pair of feet and a fish tail sticking out from under a blanket. The accompanying text was "I will not mate outside my own species " repeated several times.
The Japanese version can be played in English if you have a MIL-CD compatible system. You’ll just need to burn a boot disc to a CD-R.
Almost anything first person. It makes me incredibly nauseous, which is really unfortunate because there are some really neat games that use the mechanic. I recently sold my copy of Echo Night since I couldn’t play for more than around ten minutes at a time. I also couldn’t complete the tutorial in Half-Life because it made me so nauseous that I had to spend almost the entire day in bed. Weirdly I’m perfectly fine with Metroid Prime.
I’m happy with the 8bitdo controllers I’ve picked up. They’re great if you like the official controllers, but want something wireless.
I’m still salty about not getting an English release of Million Monkeys. On another note, Ape Escape Move was such a missed opportunity. Ape Escape’s gameplay was just asking for (preferably optional) motion controls, but instead they made a rail shooter.
Some old Archos media players, such as the 605 WiFi, run a locked down Linux according to Wikipedia.
I’d have to pick Butter-fly from Digimon Adventure.
All you have to do is download the APK from the F-Droid website and enable installing from third-party/unknown sources in the Settings app (some versions of Android ask automatically when you try to open the APK). I also recommend disabling unknown sources for your browser once you’re done as a security measure.
One title that instantly comes to mind for me is Genesis of Aquarion. I admittedly never got very far into it because it’s really awkward to watch with other people around (looking at you mecha combining scenes). I actually really only checked out the show because I heard the OP in Taiko no Tatsujin Portable DX.
Anyway, the song is also called Genesis of Aquarion and is by AKINO.
It was Glasslip for me. It had an interesting premise (protag was able to see glimpses of the future by looking at special glass her family makes), but never really did anything interesting with it. All the show really had going for it was that it was really pretty.
Debian is always a safe choice for almost everything. It’s also worth checking DistroWatch. They have a search that can filter which distros are developed for a specific task (it’s under “distribution category”).
I have a T480 that I’m very happy with. With shipping I paid a little under $250. It came with 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD (which I replaced with a larger one).
