1·1 month agoAt least in Canada and the USA, most publications are owned by private corporations. Canada’s right is fuelled by Post Media’s papers, which is owned by a MAGA hedge fund. The CBC and some very small independents like Breach Media or The Narwhal are the only ones not owned by private interests.
Can you elaborate for those of us who are uninformed?

1·2 months agoCanada’s policy on nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament is based on the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and reinforced by related initiatives. Canada seeks to halt the spread of nuclear weapons, reduce existing stockpiles, and irreversibly eliminate them.
Canada strongly advocates for non-proliferation and a step-by-step approach to nuclear disarmament. This approach involves having all states join the NPT, bringing the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) into force and negotiating a treaty on fissile material.

This is a concentration camp regime and it is on track to becoming a death camp regime.
