  • Alex needs more people working with their hands. You know, stuff like tilling land, then planting Coca seeds. Follow that up with nurturing said plants until they can be harvested and then he’d like you to use your hands to help process those leaves into sweet sweet Colombian bam bam. From there he’d ask you to use your legs to help transport that magical white nectar to wherever it is that he is currently located so he can deposit it directly up his nose. This is an essential process to delivering value to shareholders interested in trading in subjugation and death.

  • Soroush feels that the lives of Iranians have turned into a game for the country’s leaders and for Western powers. He points to the betting website Polymarket, where many have bet thousands of dollars on a US strike on the night of 31 January.

“Our lives and our deaths have become entertainment,” he said. “A game for others.”

It takes a special kind of soulless degenerate to bet on war and death like this. Western society is rotten to the core.

Saba, 41, spoke of her fear for the future of her eight-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son. She also described her frustration with the government’s repression, the self-interest of opposition figures abroad, and the US warmongering.

“What a miserable people we are,” she said. “Our rulers massacre people in the streets. Reza Pahlavi has become the face of our opposition abroad. And our enemy is a fool like Donald Trump.”

Amen, Saba. I couldn’t agree with you more. What a sad state that or so called leaders keep us divided when we so clearly share more in common with each other than we do our own leaders.

  • Fishing expedition an expression for cases where a police officer or agency goes after someone, generally someone they don’t like, usually for personal or political reasons, by searching for crimes the person has committed in absence of any actual suspicion of a crime being committed. Basically digging up dirt on someone as retaliation for whatever they don’t like a person for.

The current DOJ is doing a lot of it. They make up bogus justifications for what are clearly illegal search and seizures so they can make their political enemies’ lives more difficult. None of the charges will stick, but they’ll still ransack your house, confiscate your computers, shit like that. I don’t want to make their lives easier in the event they want to dig up dirt on me; at least they’ll need a search warrant to come in and steal my DVR drive out of my home rather than hitting up a tech company that doesn’t care about me beyond my being a revenue stream to get my data.
