Sorry if this is a basic question. So if I have a pihole, do I just need to update the Raspberry Pi software, along with updating pihole software to resolve the insecurities? Or do I need to change the DNS settings of the pihole?

Thanks for the recommendations, especially URLCheck. I already had FDroid and have been trying to figure out an easy way to clean tracking URLs.
Intellivision II and Commodore 64 with joystick. Not sure which one we had first first.
I’m very leary about installing any extensions that use the permission “Access your data for all websites”. I get that they need to see the website so they can do their thing, but I just don’t trust that they are any better having my data than the site I just visited.
Makes sense. Thanks
I’ll have to try that out, thanks.
As someone who currently uses Pulse SMS+ and has been looking for alternatives like Google Messaging, are there any major issues I should be aware of?
I liked Pulse since I could send messages from a desktop app, but I can’t install it on my work computer any longer.
I also liked the WearOS app from Pulse, but they discontinued it.
Makes sense, thanks for the response.
