I wrote a Monte Carlo simulation of an electron microscope lens given an input file with the number, arrangement, and power of lens elements. It would then calculate focal length, aberration coefficients, and display a graphic representation of the range of beam paths.

Not only is it cheaper, it tastes better than 90% of what’s out there. The only thing I’m lacking is latte art, I have yet to get that figured out and have kinda given up.
One local roaster sells a 1 kilo bag at my Costco for $22. One shot of espresso on my machine is 22g, so that’s $0.48 of coffee.
The milk I buy is $12 for three half gallons. A latte has 6 oz of milk, so $0.38.
Grand total is $0.86, a little bit more than the last time I calculated it. This spring when I got the espresso machine, the coffee was $18 and the milk was $9, so the latte was closer to $0.70. Not quite the $0.50 I remembered, that number may have been just the coffee without the milk.

It’s about $0.50 at home using fresh local beans and organic A2 milk. The machine has already paid for itself.
I just checked my tires, somehow only lost 0-1 psi per tire since April. I did check them on a hot day so that probably helped.
I get a “please disable your adblocker” that cannot be closed and removes the ability to see any menus on my phone. So yeah that’s fun, their web design necessitates a force close.
Math and spatial reasoning are western thinking? The only thing western about it is the language. I guess you could consider prioritization of math and spatial reasoning as western thinking but I think they would apply to anyone that participates in commerce which is basically everyone.

I’ve had a few over the years. In high school I got all stars in Mario 64 and I beat Quake 2 without getting shot for the lulz.
In college I went through and beat all of the Adventures of Lolo games. I played hundreds of hours of FFXI but the real gem was later on when I could solo almost anything, including legendary Pokémon that normally take a party of six.
Portal and portal 2 are great experiences I’ve been through a few times.
I was obsessed over Pokémon Y. It was the first time I got into breeding perfect Pokémon with egg moves, hidden abilities, and perfect or zero IVs. I also tried for weeks to get 100 consecutive victories in Battle Maison but the third time I failed at 99 because the game cheats I threw in the towel.
In Pokémon Scarlet I really got into shiny hunting and have 200+ now. I also tried Masuda method for the first time but dang is that slow.
