I just don’t watch YouTube on my phone since losing YouTube vanced. What I liked about vanced was that I could be logged in. Do you have any personal recommendations for an alternative where I can still log in?

You’re right there. It’s got fuck all to do with politics and everything to do with squeezing as much money out of their run on this planet. Also the reason they won’t take certain political positions but easily do so when it might lead to more profits.
Damn. You broke my longest streak since learning about the Game.
I lost some respect for jables here, the way he’s seemingly throwing Kage under the bus… But at the same time I can recognise that JB has always tried to keep up a positive persona. Not apolitical but he’s never been the type to promote violence directed at specific people. Kyle did him kinda dirty by doing something to potentially harm that (assuming he was truthful when he said he was blindsided by it, and not just saying that after it blew up in the news).
Not saying Kyle is wrong and Jack is right here, though. I’ve always felt a little bad for Kyle that Jack put tenacious D and therefore Kyle on the sidelines when his Hollywood career took off. Kyle was rightfully quite jaded about that and I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s led him to doing this without considering the possible consequences for Jack.
The whole thing sucks for both of them, I guess.
Right up until the house of cards topples over, the country is in shambles and people start seeking justice, of course.
This is the exact reason people tell you you’re wrong when you say “I don’t have anything to hide” in the face of anti-privacy laws.
If you have used your ID to access porn sites they already have you on the list. You’ve put yourself on it, even. If Project 2025 succeeds in criminalizing porn users then guess what? You’re on the list to get arrested and shipped off to prison to go be a slave productive countryman.
Off the top of my head: right click the task and hit end process. That has literally never failed me. Back in windows XP it might sometimes not actually kill the process but then there was always the “kill process tree” button to fall back on.
So, nobody got paid to make that.
Sounds familiar. Are you on an alienware AW3423DWF by any chance? Because if so there’s a fix for having 165hz with hdr by manually setting up a custom resolution to enable it.
Last I played (couple weeks ago) insurance didn’t cost anything. At some point it’ll cost in game credits but right now there’s no insurance premium. You can spend some credits to expidite the return timer if you can spare it.
What? The point of star citizen is exactly that kind of emerging gameplay. I can almost guarantee the person whose spaceyacht was stolen had fun here too. Nothing was lost, the ships are insured and you can just call them back a short while after they’re destroyed.
Reading the title I thought they took away the lunch breaks of people working with children and thought “that would de heartless”. Then it dawned on me what the title actually says…
I had the exact same infuriating experience the first half hour of using my OLED panel but it turns out it was simply because Firefox doesn’t support hdr. You have to use edge or chrome for hdr content online. So now I use edge purely for YouTube and Firefox for everything else.
My biggest takeaway from the article is that he’s 75. Holy shit, I would’ve guessed 86.
Don’t know what the 2019 yaris is like but my 2006 yaris with 335.000 KMs on the odometer regularly sits in the drive for a week, sometimes two at a time without moving. I had a battery die on me after towing a caravan in 38°C weather with it for a whole day. This was in 2018, that battery lasted me until last year when the mechanic told me it was going down and needed replacing. All this to say that unless Toyota has gone to absolute shit over the years then I’m guessing something isn’t quite right with your mum’s yaris.
(okay yes, I also wanted to put my trooper of a yaris in the spotlight. My first car ever and the best deal I will ever make in my life).
I checked out one proud bavarian and some beginner’s guide videos to see what the gameplay is actually about and ended up buying it. Thanks for taking the time to respond, I might’ve slept on this title otherwise.
As someone that is interested in getting a pixel to use GrapheneOS I’m interested to hear what you hate about it. I’m still a little bit on the fence about it.
Ah, that’s good to hear! I myself haven’t played Victoria 2, I’ve played EU4, CK2 and CK3 a lot and was really excited about focusing on economy and population rather than map painting in Vic3. I saw the lackluster reviews on release and beyond and assumed it just missed the mark like so many sequels do. I’ll check it out some more. Thanks for your input!
a human can be mapped in minutes, if not seconds.
Purely from a technical standpoint I’m wondering what you’re referring to here. Most of my work is DNA sequencing using different techniques and while we can do it blisteringly fast if necessary it still takes at minimum a few hours to isolate dna, prep the dna for sequencing and then running for 24 hours followed by data analysis. That’s for bacterial DNA, I don’t have experience with sequencing human genomes but I imagine it is more complicated than bacteria. But, I haven’t kept up with literature on this subject lately so now I’m wondering if I’ve missed some breakthrough technique that speeds up the process to minutes.
Thanks for the link. I had it in mind that it was all over for vanced and revanced. Glad to hear it’s alive and well and even has its lemmy community!
