Yeah for real, who games on wifi? I was just invited to move in to my girlfriends place, I shoved myself down in the crawlspace to run ethernet before I even set my computer up. My motherboard has wifi built in if I wanted to use it.
But the vaporware salesman said fully automatic driving was 1 year away! In 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021… he should be held responsible. The guy once said to further technology some people will die and that’s just the price we pay. It was in a comment about going to Mars, but we should take that in to accout for everything he does. If I owned a business and one of my workers died or killed someone because of gross negligence I’d be held responsible why does he get away with it.
I’m absolutely fine with 1.5 million. I enjoy lemmy much more than reddit. I feel like content and conversations here are better. None of the karma farming and corporate promotion disguised as natural content.
I’ve got a tube amp and a tube DAC/ headphone amp for my HiFi system. They sound amazing.

My parents and my entire family only support Israel because the Bible says “If Israel falls the world ends”. It’s all the religious right cares about which is a very large part of the US. All of these are just my opinion and i love constuctive conversation. It’s really a massive mix of things and just for me to minimize it to religion isnt exactly right.
It sucks that we are not allowed to call bad ideas, bad ideas. Especially when it comes to Israel. Criticism is always antisemitism. I’m sorry I don’t believe any country should be able to start an ethnostate and drive millions of people out of an area they have lived for what? Thousands of years? What does Israel think is going to happen? They are teaching a whole new generation to hate them. (as if they already diddnt) This will just cause more terrorist cells to pop up and work to kill more innocent people.

Depends on the distro, times have really changed in the last 5 years and even more since the steam deck was released. I distro hop a lot and my recommendation for a newbie would be pop os! Or Ubuntu. I was really impressed with pop, everything just worked right on install. Same with Ubuntu for the most part. Any guide for the current release of Ubuntu will work on pop os.
I’ve been using EndeavorOS recently and enjoyed it but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone new to linux. It’s not as hard to use as other distros but might be a bit much for a newcomer.
Bro, Sega Saturn is was an amazing console. It still holds its own. It was arcade games at home. To this day, if you don’t want to drop the cash on a Capcom CPS2 or Neo Geo MVS. Just get some nice HORI fighting controllers and you have the next best thing.

For sure. Lots of people knew how awesome game cube was and what it was capable of. Its lacking graphics with extremely well made games. The dreamcast was a powerhouse with VGA out. Barely anyone knew how amazing it was. It could have blown away Sony. Sega really dropped the ball. I wish I had known when it came out.
