Id counter that and say if you didn’t vote you would be “unserious” about human rights

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Rainbow Six Siege director says making a sequel after 9 years would be a mistake: 'I'm not going to name names, but you see games go through sequels and just completely drop the ball'
6·2 years agoYes, but that was not a positive experience for OW2. It just killed the community.
That’s not how it works, especially before they reach a consensus / theory. But anyway.
Unfortunately there was a bit of hysteria around 5G, but I would personally prefer more research be conducted on the safety of 5G before mass implementation. There’s enough research out at the moment saying that more research needs to be conducted, but there’s a potential for adverse outcomes.

Technology@lemmy.world•Stellantis CEO says Chinese EVs are ‘possibly the biggest risk’ facing his carmaker and Tesla
2·2 years agoEh, I wouldn’t classify a phone as a luxury good. Id also say a non-cheap EV is more like 50-60 times a phone. But there’s definitely a gap in society for those that can buy new cars, let alone new EVs

Technology@lemmy.world•Stellantis CEO says Chinese EVs are ‘possibly the biggest risk’ facing his carmaker and Tesla
1·2 years agoIt’s not an apple with apple comparison though. People are willing to pay a higher price for EV when factoring in reduced maintenance costs, charging and ?? environmental benefit.

Technology@lemmy.world•Wyze says camera breach let 13,000 customers briefly see into other people’s homes
132·2 years agoI disagree, you can’t expect everyone to be technologically literate enough to understand the consequences of everything. And you can’t palm it off by saying “well they need to/should”. Much like expecting people to understand and read every single EULA that everyone always scrolls down and hits “accept” At some point legislation needs to be drafted yo make it very clear the consequences, or legislate to ensure privacy so companies can’t do this.
