You misunderstood. They output one single token and then re-ingest the entire input + that extra token to generate the next one. For token 3 that’s the entire input + token 1 and token 2

If the way you write text is to go and re-read the entire conversation from scratch, just to type another letter you are doing it wrong

There’s no pattern matching though. It takes a input set of tokens and generates a single output token. It adds that output token to the input set and ingests that set to output a single token, which it does the same with until you have your final output. That’s what LLMs do. That’s all they do

Java doesnt have value types or structs. You have primatives (booleans, integer types and float/double) and then everything else (even the uppercase primative types like Boolean) are reference types, IE on the heap. For stuff that plays with pointers you generally just call into native code, get back a long (the pointer to whatever you just allocated) and you call into native code to do stuff with the pointer. Native code can make a proper java object but it’s involved and has all the same cons as allocating one in Java land.

Supposedly records (a pseudo struct) might get stronger optimization options (IE put on the stack) but fundementaly reference types are just pointers and if you get an object via constructor or parameter the language must support you putting it in global state

Java doesnt have aliases. You can do glob imports of a particular package (IE all the classes) and you can statically glob import all the static functions in a class but uh yeah that’s it

Rimuru to put it simply has an effect on people that makes them follow him and believe in him, but also Chloe constantly brings up Rimuru and is very seriously in love with him which Raphael doesn’t like so it’s not like she’s just trusting this guy she hasn’t thought about in a couple centuries

Chloe was an incomplete summon like the other kids. She shows up long after Leon (I forget but I think he just gets isekaid like Hinata). Like she said to Hinata her future powers came to her.

From what I recall Chloe and Leon are not actually related but she looked up to him and he’s a huge siscon which is why he’s been looking for her so intensely.

There is some bootstrap paradox but we never get into that in the story. Chloe has made an unknown amount of loops and only remembers the most recent loop in addition to her “current” loop. IE right now she has memories of the last loop (which we saw as werid flashbacks with Rimuru dying) and the one where Hinata dies while Rimuru is still alive (the one we watched in the actual anime). To spoil a bit the goal right now for Chloe is to do the same things she did last loop so history is the same leading up to Hinatas death.

Some spoilers about how the Tensura world works. So basically the world Rimuru is currently in is the “Central World” the first world Veldanava created. Yes first, Veldanava created many worlds, such as Rimurus original world and many more. All of these worlds exist in the same universe, at the same time but time is not constant. IE some worlds are “in the future” and other worlds are “in the past”. Chloes power is strictly jumping backwards (involuntarily when Hinata dies) on the “global timline” that is to say no new reality is created or hopped to.

We don’t know where the time travel power initially comes from but it’s likely Chloe herself created it after Hinata died the first time as it’s a Unique skill. The real bootstrap paradox imo is the mask since Chloe got it from Rimuru who gets it from Shizu who gets it from Chloe… also worth mentioning that Rimuru perfectly replicated it which is insane and is what got Diablo to become Rimurus subordinate

The Light Novel so far hasn’t had any more time travel mess since this arc, however the Web Novel does have one more instance right near the end which looks like the LN will end up following

Yes. It’s a story about putting Subaru into situations where the only path forward is self improvement. Subaru can fight and struggle to stay the same but to move forward he must improve. In the Sanctuary arc Subaru repeatedly failed to solve all the problems himself. There’s a what if story where he goes through with the contract with Echidna and we’re shown what would have happened if Subaru gave into his Greed, essentially ruining his relationships with all his friends, while still “saving” them. He got everything he wanted while losing what was most important.

This one gave serious goosebumps again. So excited to see where things go.

I’ve gotta be honest I don’t understand how you can think Re:Zero follows the same formula as those lol. The other three are fairly similar in story structure but Re:Zero? Like you named three typical shounen and then Re:Zero a story where the main character can’t accomplish anything on his own, is quite pathetic for the first couple arcs and who’s power is to get killed gruesomely and try and lead others with knowledge he cannot share and should not know.

Naruto literally right from the start is shown to be a kid with incredible potential who manages to beat a Chunin. Narutos structure is about a kid who isn’t innately powerful (which is imo a retcon due to being Ninja Jesus) but who trains with dedication. IE you can do anything if you put effort into it.

Demon slayer is similar insofar that Tanjiro isn’t actually uniquely special though Demon Slayers story structure kind of just sucks all around. The author cared way more about cool looking fights or scenes than making things logically make sense most famously all the Sword effects being completely made up, and not something that exist in cannon, a cannon that has actual demon blood magic.

I’ve been seeing more people hate on things just cause it’s popular and I’ve gotta admit it’s so goofy. You can just not enjoy something that’s fine nobody is forcing you to watch Re:Zero if you don’t like it. Sometimes fans of a property go really overboard, to name names Full Metal Alchemist fans but Full Metal Alchemist is actually good there’s just a lot of people who make it their personality

The first episode has a scene where the main girl drops a bunch of cigarettes in actual shit and she decides to “clean them off” so she can still smoke them. There’s also a scene where she digs through her trash to find a “soggy cig” that she smokes and gets sick from

To tease you the glow is related to something the two of them have in common, but you wouldn’t know that just from looking at them.
