I’ve not read the article yet, but I’m going to assume it’s affecting my sleep because I’m reading about how it’s affecting my sleep at 04:21 instead of, you know, going to sleep. Just a guess

… said the stubborn person refusing to upgrade.
I was still on Windows 7 until about four months ago when I needed to upgrade to 10 for work. I totally agree and understand your point
I live in a rural area and know a lot of farmers (meat, dairy and veg), none of whom are wealthy. Several don’t own land, but have to rent it instead. Those that do own land tend to be asset-rich but don’t actually have cash (as in, they own land and farm equipment, but they can’t sell it because then they wouldn’t be able to keep working). Maybe it’s different in other parts of the country, but around here people are struggling. We also have the issue of banks and other large corporations buying up land to plant with timber as carbon offsets, rather than putting in work to reduce their carbon footprint.
Since when are farmers wealthy?
Luckily my testicles weren’t studied, so I must be safe. Right?
Right, but why not be an arsehole to your workers as well? Could be fun
Thank you
I don’t have any scientific evidence, but an extra 5-10 minutes of sleep before being woken again isn’t enough to provide any benefit. Better to set the alarm for when you mean to wake up and leave it at that
Personally I set three alarms over the course of ten minutes just in case, but usually I’m either fully awake after the first one or tired enough to sleep through all three
If you would wake up and get out of bed the first time the alarm went off you would be less tired overall.
And if you work out how to do that, please share with me
Polluting vehicles are not the same as people… you know that, right? The reason for the ULEZ is to keep emissions low, not restrict tourism
For you Americans reading this, 1.3m is about 4’3"
;)
I didn’t know where this city was, I was just making a pun off of “highest”. Would’ve been more sensitive if I’d realised. Sorry :)
If they’d all stop doing drugs maybe they could’ve planned a bit better /s
I was with my mistress one day when she heard her husband walking up the drive. She said, “quick, use the back door!”. I wasn’t sure we had time, but it’s not every day you’re offered anal
Actually true though, in roughly half of all cases. More if you count cloud cover as not being blue
I am being sarcastic. We have a brown person as our prime minister, after all
I wish people would stop going on about Brexit. It was what the people wanted. Literally every single brown “”“person”“” has left the country and we don’t have any EU overlords shoving their rules down our throats. Every other aspect of our life bring worse and facing food shortages is a small price to pay
I’d assumed you’d read my other comment. When I do have both drives plugged in at once, Windows always does a disk check on every startup, which takes a long time and is completely unnecessary. Just switching which device I boot from isn’t a good solution for my computer
Probably could, but it’s not worth the time or effort. I switch so rarely that even if it only took five minutes to configure, that’s still more time than I spend switching in six months
Wrong game, that’s AOE I. (although it is a taunt in AOE II)
