Yeah, I agree. Not sure why the west is so eager to shield Israel from their responsibilities, but Netanyahu and co should stand trial for their crimes against humanity. But so should Khamenei.

Agreed. I don’t care who gets tried in The Hague first though, so long as both get their lawful comeuppance.
This is the only sane take. Bombing hospitals is a war crime for a goddamn reason.
There is simply no excuse for this, both sides should be held liable for their war crimes.
Thank you for sharing this. Probably one of the hardest reads of my life, it’s incredibly powerful and well written so it conveys the horrors of the experience in an almost visceral way.
It also really helped me understand at a much more personal level how these addiction/reeducation camps and cults break people mentally and emotionally.
Sure, you read about these kinds of things happening in the news, but it never hit home for me what that experience is like until reading this.
Thank you.
“Peace through strength” has such an aweful ring to it. From the first recorded historical use forward it has been used by empires using rethoric to whitewash their aggression.
Wouldn’t it be an absolute riot of a “leopards ate my face” situation if he ends up croaking because of this?
To clarify: I don’t wish any harm on his grandchildren, but this man’s level of willful ignorance and sheer recklessness makes it hard for me to sympathize with any negative outcome he may suffer personally.
And how, pray tell, is a “real” firearm going to help defend against the most technologically advanced army in the world, who can take you out from half a planet away without you ever seeing anyone until you are ginsu-bladed in half (reference: https://www.pcmag.com/news/us-used-drone-carrying-knife-missile-to-kill-al-qaeda-chief)?
We don’t need more firearms in personal hands when it comes to our national defence, we need alliances, a better standing army, and probably some form of nuclear deterrence. Thinking you’ll make any meaningful difference with your personal firearm and a couple of hours on the gun range is the exact same magical thinking 2FA nuts keep using while the US government takes their rights and freedoms away.
While I agree with your main point (which to me sounds like “don’t let your cats outside as they’re an invasive species and will do serious damage to the local ecosystem”), suggesting to kill them on sight is a bit harsh and won’t make you many allies.
We have much more humane options to capture, return, and if needed rehouse cats. Remember that these objectively invasive animals are also people’s companions, and that some folks simply don’t know better than the old belief that “cats should roam”.
Yeah yeah, I blame autocorrect.
If your machine has a TPM chip, you can bypass the other requirements to upgrade to 11 with a simple registry edit. Not sure if that’s an option for you, but it saved parents’ older Surface device from the landfill.
If Bethesda handles SkyWind the same as SkyBlivion I am actually quite stoked to play a UE5 version of Morrowind…
Actual Microsoft rollout practices 🤣
If only Trump’s core supporting demographic were educated enough to both get the reference and the joke…
Flavor-aid actually, but in this case who cares so long as the solution is the same.
What the fuck? I know it’s Donald Dump, but despite all the insanity happening since his inauguration this is the first headline that manages to surprise even me. Dude’s talking about annexing Canada and Greenland on one hand, but then bows to the former UK colonial project? What?
GG Trump, I honestly did not see this one coming.
I refuse to believe that tweet is real on principal, but it’s just tone deaf enough to have me question whether this might have actually been shat out by a corporate marketing team as part of some greenwashing effort.
If this is someone memeing however: Kudos, this one is very convincing despite being wildly ridiculous.
“Would you like your evil done in the traditional overt bombs-dropped-on-children fashion, or the new we’ll-sell-your-entire-life-to-the-highest-bidder-while-feeding-you-non-stop-lies-to-establish-a-fascist-regime style, sir?”
This guy: Bomb some kids, at least it’s a spectacle.
(Edit for clarification: I think both are bad, and one has a strong causal relationship with the other but I am not sure I would pick Raytheon personally. It’s a bit too overtly evil for my tastes)
That’s what I’m thinking reading this and other articles. It’s like the Republican party is reaching to find increasingly desperate ways to get into Trump’s graces, to the point that it feels like they’re running out of ideas by this point and have started a race to the bottom debasing themselves for his amusement.
How does this man hold so much sway over them? He has the charisma of a wet rag, the character and patience if a toddler, and the long term vision of a house fly. Out of all the things I read about him and his cult, this is the one thing that baffles me the most.
They also laid off folks with H1Bs. No, I suspect the real story here is that someone somewhere got convinced these jobs could be done even cheaper by AI, so they’re cutting folks to fund the datacenters basically.
“Just one more layoff. Just one more and I promise we’ll have Copilot reach AGI. We just need one more layoff to make the cost structure work. Please, just one more.”
