My kids often don’t listen, struggle with lying, have no regard for consent of others or personal property, and a host of other issues. Expressing love is not one of them. My kids (still young) show me they love me (and my wife) nearly continuously. The rest they’re learning.

My neighbor’s cat is mostly deaf. Because of this, he is so loud when he meows. When he’s outside, we occasionally hear him meowing. He’s seeing who will come and entertain him. In general, I agree. However, every mention of him without mentioning the Epstein files is a distraction. So, if you want to say something like this senile, old pedofile needs to release the Epstein files, that would be okay. But the Epstein files needs to be continuously kept in the public stream of consciousness or it will be forgotten.

I’m cool with being notified of my laundry being done and being notified of issues. The problem isn’t those kinds of features. The problem is that stealing data and company control over your device is a built-in future.

I wasn’t underweight, but I was skinny. I probably ate 4-6k calories a day and never went above 150lbs until I turned 30. That’s also when I got an office job, though. So, then I had to work to maintain my weight.
